This has probably been one of the most overhyped restaurants in the area. Finally decided to take the wife there for a nice date. Get there, it's dark and cold inside. Crowded tables inside so you're right on top of the next party. The free bread is terrible. The waitress spent more time gabbing with other parties (seemed like the thing the whole wait staff did. It's like they all just hang out with people they know coming in). The mushroom soup was like warm. The salad was good. The main courses came out (fettuccine with sausage) and wife got angel hair. She enjoyed hers but mine was not good. I will give them props for the sausage; it was the only thing enjoyable besides my company about this meal. Nearly $100 after tip for one of the worst restaurant experiences ever. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

This is a very fine dining establishment with an amazing atmosphere and great food. The service was impeccable and the menu selections provided something for everyone in my party of 20. I thoroughly enjoyed the Capellini Marinara because even the half portion was filling and so flavorful. I highly recommend stopping here. read more

Rocco's is fantastic! What a great find thanks to Yelp! The food is excellent! In a party of 5, our bill was under $200 for everyone's food and drinks! Portions are huge- everyone had leftovers to take home. The veal chop was incredible, the combo platter was HUGE, and everything was fresh and made to order. The real winner was the lobster & crab ravioli. I think we all agreed it was the best dish! I docked a star because the service was just ok, took a while to get orders in and get our check snd it was so LOUD inside we couldn't hear our own conversations. A local favorite in the tiny, picturesque WV town of Ceredo. Lovely space, can get pretty loud at times but it's Italian so to be expected. A special occasion place for many, as it can be pricey. But the portions are huge and delicious. Tried the crab Alfredo, chicken Parmesan, chicken Marsala, but my recent fave is the spicy rigatoni alla vodka! Extensive wine list for the area and all of their desserts and salad dressings are homemade, (get the blue cheese.) They have servers who have worked there for 20+ years who are wonderful and will treat you like family. read more

Rocco's turned out to be great, I felt that they had a very good take on many classic Italian dishes. We had many appetizers, and most of us got the daily specials. I have to say the only downside was slow service, we waited about an hour and 45 minutes before getting our food. The server was great, explained the specials and the menu, and was fairly attentive. The restaurant is super nice inside, very intimate but honestly a bit dark. Overall I'd come back again. Heads up if you've never been here they're open very limited hours and had a line forming about an hour before opening time on the weekend. read more

No idea why it took a party of 4 to be seated after a 15-20 min wait only to be in a back room with zero customers. Half the party didn't receive their appetizers. It took forever to get any food or refills. The salad was slimy and soggy. No one ate it after the first bite. Main courses were just okay. The whole service took forever, we were there 2 hours. Fabulous Italian food and quaint ambiance. The service was spot on. Both appetizers, the bruschetta and also the mushrooms, were fabulous aka yummy in the tummy. Decadent is the lobster/crab ravioli; it was like having ravioli, a lobster roll, and lobster bisque, all in one dish. A nice added touch was having the boxed leftovers wrapped in plastic wrap because no one likes to arrive home with tomato sauce dripping from the takeout box. read more

The pasta make it so delicate, even tho I'm a lady wolfing down some sauce. lastly, the piece of chocolate cake to top off our anniversary dinner while driving another 7 hours with three kids?!? Lobster and crab ravioli (almost $30) - 4 big stuffed ravioli w/ Lobster and crab in the sauce. A little salty and quite fishy tasting. First time and will absolutely not be our last. We arrived at 5 when they opened and were seated promptly. Fresh bread was good with our meat and cheese appetizers. Wife had lobster ravioli which was equally delicious. Daughter ordered A la cart which is the best way. You pick 2 and get a soup or salad. The portion on two a la cart's is more than a single order of an entree for less $. She picked sausage cacciatore & spinach ravioli. Sausage was spicy but I loved it. Lastly we all three ordered dessert. They had three house made selections and two that were brought in. We opted for the house made based on the food. Absolutely delicious. We arrived at 4:45 only to find a line for opening at 5!! We got seated quickly and the appetizers were really good. We sampled meatballs and shrimp cocktail. Both were tasty. I ordered lasagna and my companion had a filet special of the day. The lasagna was perfect and could have come from a restaurant in Little Italy. The steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare and tasted delicious. Desert was a cheesecake and carrot cake. Both were fantastic. I can't recommend this place enough. read more

The worse meal was the special for $38, the VEAL CHOP. we didnt eat it, we had a couple of bites, just terrible taste. Just a big ol piece of soggy meat that they covered with some guuu. Terrible. Absolutely amazing food. I'm ashamed to say I've grown up 45 minutes from Rocco's and never been. Can't wait to go back! The langostino was wonderful. I highly recommend. I was also shocked by how great the wine menu was. I very excited to see they had Caymus and it paired greatly with our meal. Do yourself a favor and enjoy this local Italian restaurant. This comfortable and beautifully decorated restaurant would be the perfect place to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays and other special occasions. It's also the perfect place just to treat yourself to someplace nice, which is what my daughter and I did. We started by sharing two appetizers, fresh mushrooms sauteed in butter and herbs, plus sausage in marinara sauce. We could have left perfectly satisfied after the first course; however, my daughter and I both ordered from the a' la carte menu. She got the spaghetti in marinara and I ordered the lasagna. Both dishes were excellent. We have enough leftover food for lunch. Our server was great, he was friendly and professional.
