I've been looking for a quality shop for some time, to repair a leather panel in my Ekornes Stressless Chair headrest, and was fortunate to find Giovanni's on Yelp. They had a very closely matched leather remnant and gave me a reasonable estimate to do the repair. When I picked up the headrest, they had replaced the leather on the entire front side of the headrest to ensure that the.new panel wouldn't stand out, and did this at no additional charge, and got it done a week early. This is the second time we've used Giovanni's for upholstery 'redo'. The first time, he did 2 sofas, 2 wingback chairs & 8 dining chairs. All were perfect. This time, we had him do an outdoor swing (3 seats with a canopy). It is absolutely beautiful. He told us about 5-6 weeks (he's been very busy!) & it was exactly the timeframe we were quoted. He is able to quote you just by sending your picture to him - pick your fabric from him or bring your own (both times, we've purchased the fabric from him & have been pleased with the selection available.) The customer service is great & the quality of workmanship is outstanding! I obviously am pleased & will use him again when I need any more replacements. Excellent business! We requested quotes from a number of folks to redo the foam in our couch - Giovanni's beat everyone by a long shot. It took about a week to get our 11 throw pillows and two very large couch cushions done. Every person we've interacted with was friendly and professional. We did a kitchen and breakfast nook renovation over the past couple of years. Reupholstering the nook cushions was the final part of the project, mainly because I could not find someone to point me in the right direction. I asked for referrals at JoAnn's Fabrics, to no avail. I asked friends and contractors, but they only were aware of companies that specialize in car seat reupholstering. Finally, I resorted to YELP and Google reviews and found Giovanni's in Chandler. From my first phone call to them, I knew I'd found the perfect company for the project. They have an informative, helpful website and are very responsive by text or phone. AND, they have fabric books and fabrics hanging in their showroom....hundreds of them! They work mostly with interior designers and homeowners. They provided an estimate, came to my home to do measurements, and ordered fabric samples (for free) for me if they didn't have a requested fabric in their showroom. I worked with Giovanni Jr., who was so helpful and SO nice! There wasn't a question they couldn't answer for me. This is a family-run business, and all of the work is done on site at their location in Chandler. I was able to go behind the scenes to see some of their projects.
