Good luck in the future to Drs Pardhan and Alexander (husband and wide team) - both excellent dentists. -------- I cant believe it - that didnt hurt a bit! At least not until I had to pay the bill... It seems that the cost of dentistry has gone up. Good thing it's regulated! This dentistry is located in an old converted house on the main drag in Carp, and nearly directly across from the Carp Fair Grounds. Next door to one side is an ice cream shop and the other side is an excellent bakery (Alice's); there is nothing like community support!! LOL! But seriously, who loves going to the dentist? I do not. Like most people I am adverse to pain, especially when it is inflicted upon me, and in particular in the area of my mouth. I was not looking forward to this visit! However, I needed a good cleaning, and I have to admit even to myself, that this was a breeze! It was so relaxing that I could have fallen asleep in the patient's chair! This dental hygienist was excellent! I only wish I had caught her name, as this was the first time she had cleaned my teeth. Dr. Pardan and his wife and dental partner, Dr. Alexander, both have done a lot of work on my teeth, such as rebuilding a broken tooth, and pulling another one which had been causing me problems. I have been well taken care of by this team. (Note: Dr. Alexander has been away raising the children over the last few years.) They operate a clean and modern facilty. This event was so good that I just had to say something positive here.

Through this I get a genuine sense that he's very interested in remedying and helping you cope with your chiropractic needs. Although at the end of my appointment I end up with an adjustment I like the fact that every visit is means for him to assess my progress or lack of progress through further questioning and through his other means which include suggested activities and remedies to help cope and minimize any further regression if that is the case. I also never had problems with scheduling an appointment and his schedule seems to work for me. I'd recommend anyone who's looking for a chiropractor at least give Dr. Lowthian a try.
