I asked the clerk if I could get a better price on a piece of furniture…read more The clerk said she would take a picture and send it to the owner (it was the mall owners piece) to see if it could be discounted. I later returned to ask if the owner had responded. The clerk stated "no, it's the mall owners piece and if they don't respond that means they're not interested in discounting a piece" I said that I was then not interested in buying. The clerk then said "well there's a sign here that says no discounts" . Then why was I told a picture would be taken and the owner asked? I usually buy multiples of furniture and smalls for a business - but since they're not interested I'll be going elsewhere.
