During that time, my PS5 somehow became separated from the other five items without anyone informing me that it was no longer being extended. The PS5 was in excellent condition, had its original box, a headset, and three games. I was later told it had been pulled and sold, then returned, and eventually resold. What bothers me most is how easily this apparently happened while I continued coming into the store and making payments. Nobody stopped me and said, "One of your items is different. You need to address this immediately." That's the explanation I still want. But there was another moment that made me look at this differently. While I was in the store, another customer nearby said that something similar had happened to her and then said, "What other choice do we have?" That question stuck with me. When large pawn corporations operate in communities where people may be using pawn services because they need cash and don't have many alternatives, transparency matters. Customers need to understand exactly where their payments are going, what items are covered, when something becomes delinquent, and what is going to happen to their property. I have contacted corporate and filed a BBB complaint because I want answers and accountability. I'm not claiming that I have personally proven a company-wide scam or that I know what every employee is doing. I am saying that my experience raised serious concerns, and I believe those concerns deserve to be investigated. The PS5 is just my experience. The bigger question is whether customers in our community are being given enough information and protection to understand what is happening to their property. If you use a pawn shop, keep every receipt, track every individual ticket, and don't assume Cash America might be worst than Monster Pawn. They have the same People giving 5star reviews like Jena and Whyte wolf just to shame a few.The slogan should be.. Come shop at Cash America -- where they scam their customer so they can give you the greatest deals!" Why pay full price when someone else already paid the price?
