This clinic has been mismanaging my mother's medical care for more than a year now. First she developed a shooting pain down her leg which was dismissed as a simple muscle strain. Actually she had a prolapsed disk in her lower back which was compressing a nerve. Eventually the pain became so excruciating we had to take her to the ED. Then she ended up with congestive cardiac failure which for months was not identified - or misidentified - as 'lymphoedema'. In the end her legs became so swollen with fluid that they started blistering and she got cellulitis- requiring yet another hospital admission. Don't expect this clinic or its doctors to provide any apology or accountability however (they are of course very quick to put their hand out for money). Part of the problem here is that the Dr's are constantly coming and going, or only work at the clinic part time, or are always 'on holiday'. Hence you are lucky if you get to see the same Dr twice in a row (bad for continuity of care). Of the Dr's that do work here regularly, it appears many don't live in the area and hence lack local knowledge. When my mother's leg wounds became so bad they could no longer be managed at home, one of the clinic's GP requested me to take my mother to the (non-existent) Emergency Department at Kyneton country hospital! Some of the Dr's here are pleasant to deal with but most make up for their lack of competence with a condescending, know-it-all attitude. Reception staff are unhelpful and dismissive - and have been known to change the Dr you are seeing without letting you know. The only staff who are any good at all are the nurses. Very poor clinic, if I could give you 0 stars I would. read more

The most kind and effective medical centre I've ever been too. It's modern, caters to all types of people and has the most wonderful and admin and doctors. There's a triage out the back which is free of charge if you need things like stitches etc or an emergency. It's cheap, comfy waiting rooms with tvs and books. They have a wide variety of tests and options. Blood test, Pap smear, hearing check, general check up, mental health info, etc. I would recommend it to absolutely everyone. read more
