The front desk clerk was friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was quiet during my stay. The AC and mini-fridge worked very well. The TV has limited channels, no in-room coffee maker, no breakfast available and limited outlets for your electronics. Free WiFi available. The shower amenities were limited to a shampoo, conditioner, body wash combo. Water pressure was average at best and it took forever to get warm - not hot, just warm. Should I return to bike the trail again, I would probably look to book a room closer to the trail and the restaurants.

Our room had a large balcony to hang out outside. The facility also had a fire pit, outdoor hot tub, and outdoor skating rink available later in the season, weather permitting. The Chateau's location is a 6-minute free bus ride to the Village and offers free shuttle service to and from the Village with prior reservation. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. After a hot day of riding, Guy met us on their wonderful, airy porch with glasses of cold water. He then directed us to the lake behind the B&B where we went for a wonderful and refreshing swim. The dinner Diane made was delicious and a definite must for people staying at the inn. Accommodations were very comfortable and the breakfast the day we rode out was perfect to start a day on a bike. What could be more perfect after a day at the most amazing spa in the world and a cozy Italian dinner than a perfect bed and breakfast experience? Not much if you ask me.... Where to begin? The home is picture perfect and nestled in the woods surrounded by leaves upon glorious leaves. An inviting front porch appropriately decorated for the season and a backyard filled with hues of yellow and a hot tub! Perfection! The room was lovely. Immaculate and cozy. The most comfortable bed complete with crisp white linens and super plush pillows. Their signature feather (plume is feather in French) was found creatively dispersed in the details including a throw pillow and on the door to each room. I loved every thought out detail such as the maple leaves as a nod to Canada. We took advantage of the oversized tub and lovely smelling bath accessories. We loved the playful addition of the rubber duckies! The robes were perfectly folded and a treat to put on after our relaxing bath as we cozied up. The room has a CD player, DVD player and and a small flatscreen with satellite. We had a fantastic nights sleep in this space. The house was super cozy as well and filled with local artist as well as the owner's own artwork. All were of gorgeous local scenes. Amazing! They are all for sale also! The food was unreal! We were graciously handed a menu to fill out before bedtime with a place to select a time we would like to enjoy our meal. I was a tad confused as there were so many options. You each choose one from each category. So much food and it all sounded incredible! It absolutely was! The hosts take pride in their culinary skills and it surely shows. Each dish was created, plated and garnished with the upmost care. They also have a hydroponic garden in the basement so your meal is garden fresh. The menu was very creative, but didn't stray from the local surroundings. They will certainly cater to your dietary needs. The night before our stay was Canadian Thanksgiving and we were invited to join in for a full dinner. They even went out of their way to make me veg friendly plates! The hosts couldn't have been friendlier, kinder and more knowledgeable of the area. It was an absolute perfect night and up there with our favorite bed & breakfast experiences. I had to be very specific about what I wanted, and when I was, I could get some cheese or boiled eggs to go with my meal, instead of the chicken, but it was challenging. The breakfast buffet was nice, complete with an omelette station, and plenty of variety. This is a ski lodge in the winter, and the room we had was big enough for four people, with two bathrooms, fireplace, and a nice view of the lake. It also had an outfitted kitchen, with full refrigerator.

Need a weekend away from the city? Want to be surrounded by nothing but peace and nature?…read more Domaine Ste Agathe is absolutely where you need to go. I forget how many times we've stayed there - 8 or 9, I think. We've gone alone and also have brought our friends up. We try to rent a different house every time. Although all of the Swiss style homes are similar, each one has it's own charm (one is right at the top of a mountain, one has a second fireplace at the indoor pool, one has an amazing spa/pool on the deck, etc). They allow you to bring your dogs for a very small fee of $10 per night which is perfect for us, we bring our two Chihuahuas everywhere. Choose between having a hot tub or a pool.....or you can have both. Choose between 1 bedroom all the way up to 6 bedrooms. They have about 30 different fully equipped homes that will absolutely make you happy, whatever you're looking for. The family that runs it is absolutely lovely and so helpful. We'll be back!

The owners are very responsive to email and will help you with anything you need. Self check in was easy. You're emailed a code for a lock box located at the front door. Inside the box are the house and your room keys. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Wifi connection was also great, and there is a table in your room for anyone who needs to work while away. There is also lots of parking out front and it's free unlike at the hotels that are not that far away. Snacks are always available as well as tea and water. A continental breakfast is also offered with your stay. Hard boiled eggs, toast, pastries, yogurt and fruit were provided. As well as tea, coffee and hot cocoa. I'd recommend this stay to anyone in the Mont Tremblant area.
