Tony and the office staff are wonderfully kind and helpful; maintenance staff are quick and responsive. The property is nice, in an ideal location near downtown and southtown. The main problems lie with management and the owners of the property. They recently implemented huge changes to the parking structure and parking policies on site, without informing residents or giving any notice. This included sharing our vehicle information and contact information with a third-party company, without our consent or agreement. With the new parking set up, we are no longer guaranteed to have a parking spot where we live; our guests will have to pay for parking at times, and the public will be given access to our parking garage. When many of us became residents and signed leases, these were NOT conditions we agreed to. In fact, for many of us, the private parking garage was a huge selling point for the property. The security/safety of the apartment complex has already been an area of concern for residents - these changes have caused this concern to increase exponentially. There had been a number of vehicle break-ins before; it's dismal to think of how this number may increase in the near future. It's extremely unfortunate that the owners of Agave value the monetization of the parking garage, far more than they value the safety and care of residents. These apartments are not a cheap place to live; it's so ridiculous that you are not guaranteed at least a parking spot at home, and we now have to worry even more about our safety.

When we asked for verification, they failed to provide a single photo showing the alleged damage and instead escalated it within Airbnb, no timestamped evidence indicating the condition before or after our reservation, and no receipts or repair estimates; even after asked. Expecting guests to pay for unseen, undocumented wear or damage reported days after departure is unacceptable business practice. Especially a tear in the cushion which they stated cost upwards of $400. If you stay at any of their properties, protect yourself: film an exhaustive, timestamped video of every piece of furniture the moment you check in and the minute you leave. This company has shown they will levy charges without basic proof or accountability.
