Joe came out, took a look what was going on, and gave me an estimate that was identical in scope but half the price of another estimate we received so we opted to go with Eames and Sons. Joe was fantastic to work with and kept me up-to-date on scheduling of the entire process, from dropping off a trailer for the old roofing materials, dropping off the new materials, the actual day of work, etc. The Eames and Sons crew came out, did the work in a single day, and then Joe came out the next day for an inspection. Joe noticed some of the work wasn't up to the Eames and Sons standards, so he had someone from the crew come back out and redo it and then came back out the same day to check on the work again. I also noticed that some of the mortar between bricks near some of the work seemed to now be missing and he came back out on his own time to fill in the gap. Eames and Sons, and specifically Joe, definitely went out of their way to make sure our roof was perfect and that I no longer needed to worry about the leak we found. This was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend others use Eames and Sons for their roofing needs. EDIT: I noticed some damage to a window screen after the dump trailer was moved away. Joe fixed the screen himself and sent someone else out to take care of some of the metal around the window as well. Eames and Sons has gone above and beyond what I expected and they have set a very high bar for any work that gets done around our house in the future.

Very poor installation in the corners of my gutters. It collapsed unbeknownst to me. Once discovered, 2 years after installation I reached out and was told there is only a 1-year warranty on the mesh product. Franciscus warranty agreement states they cover labor and workmanship for 10 years. I was told they could send a tech out in 3 weeks, $500.00 Service call! Alternative offered was to refer to a local contractor who could come out sooner and at less of charge. Extremely poor customer service. I would not recommend this group. They do not stand behind their products or warranty.

This house had a very poor roof and needed to be replaced. Of the 4 estimates I got, they all came in pretty close price-wise so it came down to my gut feeling that I went with. Bruce and Gary (the owners) genuinely cared and made sure that I was happy with my new roof. Bruce does more of the sales aspect and answered every question and addressed every concern I had. He has samples you can check out and a huge list of nearby homes that Distinctive has installed their roofs. Not once did he try to pressure me to go with their company or try to sell me additional products that he knew weren't in my budget. Metal roofs are all these guys do. And they do it right. Gary handles the installation. He has a crew of Amish guys who were awesome and have been with Distinctive Metal Roofing for about 8 years. Knowing the attrition rate in construction, I think the fact that the crew has been with them nearly a decade says something right there. They got right to work and did the two layer tear off, relocated an attic fan, closed off unnecessary vents and installed the new roof in one day. They were careful to get all the nails and any loose debris picked up. After they left you couldn't even tell that they had been there. The crew treated my home with great care and respect. I'm very happy with my new roof. It has the appearance of a shingled roof but has the durability, zero maintenance and energy savings of a metal roof.

I made a snap decision on a shingle color from a small sample while talking to the TLC rep for ten minutes and have regretted that decision ever since. The TLC rep made no mention of researching the color selection so it is up to the customer to do so. To be fair the roof job went very well. All of the TLC employees were friendly, professional & showed good workmanship. I would recommend TLC to anyone but would caution them on their shingle color selection.
