My wife had to make a trip early one morning to the emergency room due to extreme abdominal pain. The folks at the emergency room drew blood for testing, took x-rays, and gave my wife a pain shot (their solution when they couldn't isolate the cause of the problem). Later that same morning, I took my wife to Dr. Samalio. My wife described her pain, and Dr. Samalio noted that the particular nerve that controls sensation in the stomach was located in a certain vertebrae. He proceeded to treat my wife's back. Within thirty minutes, the pain had subsided completely. Not only does Dr. Samalio treat for pain and discomfort, he also teaches his patients exercises that they can do at home to reduce pain and stiffness. Dr. Justo Samalio is a terrific doctor, and I HIGHLY recommend him!

He was very short with responses to the questions I had while also failing to inform me that my back hurting was still a possibility after the advised wait time he recommended before returning to work. When I had called him about the excruciating pain and not being able to do my job, he claimed it was a test run and now we know we need to do more treatment. He used my only source of income as a test run and as a result I was let go and almost lost everything. When confronted about this through email, he ignored everything and wanted to transfer me to a different doctor so he wouldn't have to deal with it. Honestly I would've accepted a simple apology, but I didnt even get that. Definitely be cautious with this place!
