First…read moreoff the staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel so comfortable before whatever you're having done. I've been here for epidural steroid injections in my spine and hubby for some easy outpatient surgeries. Every time they take such good care. As soon as you're awake they're there with their snack tray and some sort of beverage your choice!! Very clean, very timely and I would choose here for any easy surgery.

It was actually an easy procedure except the hardware is cumbersome so now it needs to come out. Dr. Ward is very nice, knowledgeable and great bedside manner. Highly recommend this practice.

I have been here for alternative options (steroid injection, etc) but finally decided to see a surgeon about my debilitating shoulder pain ... Took sick time for an appointment with Karen Perser. Arrived early as directed by the Logan health automated system. I sat in waiting room for nearly an hour before finally asking the receptionist what the deal was ... she informed me that dr Perser was running 45 minutes late. Why wouldn't you let her patients know, I wonder. Anyway, I guess this review doesn't matter because, my options for care --. thanks to the Logan health monopoly -- indicate that I can suffer with pain or suck it up and deal with with crap medical care. Or I guess travel to another city.

Months following, his response was very flippant about the state my foot was in. I felt that he really didn't want to take any responsibility for his part. needless to say I just had a more extensive surgery in Missoula to remove hardware and fix the mess that my foot was. I highly recommend getting second opinions. Better safe than sorry, not to mention the time and expense incurred.

I had seen another podiatrist in Alabama and nothing was done to help me, I am thankful for the care and advice. I am now enjoying traveling and hiking again.

Been an in-patient here twice and out-patient patient for day procedure 3x. My last experience for…read morea broken hip was very good. Physical Therapy was there was there from day 1 and they were professionals who were both personable and experienced. The food was awesome and the highlight of my day. My requests for pain medicine during both stays were quickly answered. In fact, my call buttons were responded to on a timely basis. My rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. During my second stay I was transferred to a room with a strange bed that was very low on the floor and uncomfortable. The unusual procedure that bothered me was how my catheter was placed. I felt my privacy was invaded and almost sexually abused. 4 staff entered my room with a flashlight, turning out the the room lights on the way in, with the necessary supplies. The R.N. explained they were there to insert my urinary catheter necessary for the surgery required to repair my broken hip. Ok, been there, done that. But 4 people , 1 holding a flashlight, 1 attempting to thread the tubing, and 2 providing verbal guidance. Huh? Then she missed and placed it in the other orifice just below where it belonged!! This eerie procedure just took an even more bizarre turn. I looked at their faces and there were some strange grins. 2nd time was the charm. Never in my 50+ years have I experienced such a strange encounter. When I complained, I never saw any of them again. Bizzaro! Notwithstanding, all the other staff impressed me with their compassion and professionalism. Discharge planning for rehab was handled on a timely basis. To my surprise, the Hospitalists were competent and interested in me and took into account my pre-existing conditions. They billed My quickly and consequently never received a bill. Except for that one eerie incident, which I felt was heard and resolved, I recommend Logan for both day surgery and in-patient care.

I have NEVER seen such an inept and inefficient ER in my life and I'm 77. I had sit for 7 hrs…read more before being seen and in the mean time had a young orderly take blood who obviously had never done it before. I was left with a swollen, bruised arm and more waiting before being told they did not have a bed for me in the hospital and I would have to stay the night on a gurney with no blanket or pillow. Thankfully, they finally found a bed for me. The rest of this hospital and personnel are top notch, But stay away from the ER at all costs!

The receptionist was a little slow took us almost 30 minutes to check in with only one person ahead of us. I guess they needed two people up front. My husband had a preventative care appointment and the PA he saw was very caring and answered all of our questions.

Dr. Amy Mckerrow earns the 5 stars…read more Receptionists earn zero stars. They are difficult to get ahold and never friendly. My husband has been working with Dr. Mckerrow for the last 5 months as he was diagnosed with stage 3 Testicular Cancer. She performed two surgeries and we could not have been in better hands. Never in my life have I encountered a Dr who actually cares, until her. She was very patient with ALL of our questions, she made sure we understood everything she presented us with.

They told us it was going to be three hours before they could get to the next person and there were at least 20 people in that room! I walked out.

While the girls upfront were nice the two doctors I saw were awful. First they sent me to a back specialist when I needed a hip specialist. Dr. Rizzilo was him name and he is something else! He ordered tests, then refused to release the results to me even though I needed to see a specialist, not him. So I had to wait 3 weeks to go back in to get my results. He refused to answer any of my questions! ZERO! Doctor Rizzilo referred me to Dr. Makmann the "hip specialist" well I'm not sure he's in the right business. I asked him my questions and he said "I don't know" to most of them! And for the record these were simple questions, like I had pointed to the MRI and asked what something was around my hip joint, his response, no joke, " I don't know". Well sir aren't YOU supposed to be a "specialist"? Hmmmm. Anyhow I got a referral to a different surgeon! Would suggest you do the same!
