Literal food & grey water dumped ALL over the site they put us in... apparently they encourage everyone to dump gray tanks just wherever in the campsite. But don't you DARE leave anything out that might attract bears...just ignore the all food that comes from the last customers tank dump. So be really careful if you have a dog that may want to eat the rotten grey tank food left from the last person. Bathroom are GROSS. We tried to use them instead of walking back to camp & I'd rather piss my pants then go in there again. Picnic table at our spot was newer than the others but all of our friends spots had old rotten ones that were splintering BAD. I know the trains & associated noise isn't their fault but just be aware, it can be REALLY annoying. Laundry facilities were like when I was in college & went to the ghetto south side laundry mat. Machines STUNK. I only used it for a large blanket I couldn't fit in my own washer but it smelled so bad that I ended up taking it to a full service place in town to be redone. Starlink did not work where we were. NO cell reception at all. Customer service does not exist here.

Unfortunately, because of a problem with our trailer, we had to cancel the reservation, which we did on May 8 ... well in advance of our scheduled arrival date. We were charged a cancellation fee of$86.80. That seems like an outrageous amount, and WAY more than the cancellation fees that other campgrounds charged (which ranged from $0 to $46.00). Just across the street is the RoadRunner Trail - awesome spot to walk, bike, or take your dogs for a several miles stroll along the lake and into the downtown district, which is just a mile and a half up the road. This one is definitely worth a stop if you're making your way across the state and need some comfortable rest, or can't get camping inside Glacier, which is just about an hour away. Enjoy!

Situated on a nice creek and had a nice walking trail for the dogs. Full services at some sites. Sites are grassy and very nice sized. When we were there the park was half-empty and seemed very peaceful and quiet. There are two bathrooms. The older one was average is condition, the main downside is that the water for a shower is not a temp control handle but one of the push button, no temp control. The temp turned out to ok but the problem was the water only stays on for 4 seconds. I had to lean on the button non-stop to keep water going so that leaves you only one hand to shampoo, wash, etc. I checked out the new shower house which had I believe only one shower. When I tried the push button to see if it stayed on longer than the older shower house the ENTIRE bathroom flooded. Poor slope planning for good drainage when the floor was poured.

The other inconvenience was no Wi-Fi with no timeline on when it would be fixed if at all. Many modern campers depend on the Wi-Fi advertised to keep every day things going on. We called and texted and received a text from someone who said the owner had died and they could no longer accommodate our stay. It said to contact our credit card for a refund. Looking at the reviews this has been going on for at least 3 months. We will file a dispute with our credit card company but we made this reservation March, 2024. Seems to me they are hoping to keep the money so they let the reservations go for a long time. Problem is they now have our card number.
