There's a phone in the room that looks like one I remember from a 1970's episode of Baretta. The bathroom is in the closet. Or is it vice-versa? Anyway, the woman at the check-in desk was quite nice and showed us quite a large array of DVD's we could watch for free and just leave them in the room. Definitely different. Decent location near Amtrak, especially considering this is a town with no taxi service, so you have to schlep your luggage everywhere once you get off the train unless you know Bob.

The only reason I left off a star was for the window. Hotel rooms are for sleeping and the light coming through does not aid in the sleeping process. (For me at least. ). I would return. It has been two days and we still have not seen the refund. Their front desk is just very incapable. It took her almost an hour to check us out and told my husband that she was reverting what the guy did the day before for the pet security deposit. It turns out that she double charges us. I had a pretty poor experience with them this last week in Glacier. I booked several months in…read moreadvance and paid a $55 fee to "guarantee my pickup". Be aware this does NOT count towards your actual cost of pickup. You will also be charged for each direction, and it's extra if you are going to or coming from farther west than Logan Pass. We (party of 2) agreed to be picked up at 7am at the St. Mary Village months in advance. The day before our pickup date, I reached out to Rhonda to confirm, and she made it sound like another group would be riding with us, which was totally fine. Later she texted me saying that group didn't want to wait and they would be late to my pickup. And THEN later she turned around and said our ride would be there at 7 am again, but without the other group. So either way, we got picked up at the right time, but the communication was back and forth and I didn't feel confident. And then the return trip drama..... We were scheduled to be picked up at The Loop at 4pm. (This was different than where we were dropped off at Logan Pass). We finished our hike early, so I texted Rhonda that if they could send the van early (it was 2:30ish at this point) that we were ready, but if not we are fine waiting until the agreed time. She said they would send the van early, so we were on the lookout for our driver and van. We saw our driver and van drive past us TWO separate times, once headed west with a group of people, so clearly she was dropping someone off, which is understandable. And then empty going back UP the mountain. We tried to wait patiently until 4pm, and she never returned to get us. I sent intermittent texts to Rhonda for updates to see if they received our texts or not. We are assuming the driver went back to Logan's pass to wait for us, not remembering we were scheduled to be at the Loop. She eventually showed up a little after 5pm to get us, claiming she was stuck in an hour long bear jam on the east side. As we made our way back that direction, there was no signs of an hours worth of backed up traffic. This is clearly the companies excuse if they are late to a pickup. Rhonda checked in later and said that she just never got the text to come early, so she had a different excuse than the driver. All in all - instead of getting our early pickup (which would have been nice but understandable if it didn't happen) - we ended up waiting an extra hour after having seen our driver multiple times in the area. This was not a great experience. We could have gotten shuttle tickets the night before for $1. Instead we paid over $250 for 2 people just to get picked up late. TLDR - Expensive, poor communication, poor time management/planning, rude text responses, reckless driving. Pros - the driver seemed like a nice lady

We needed someone to pick us up from Many Glacier and drive us back to Logan Pass to get our car. Rhonda was amazing with helping us get booked and my fiancé said Charlie was an awesome driver. We will definitely use them again the next time we visit the park.
