This is a newer, garage-kept, well-maintained vehicle, and the damage occurred while it was under the care of Recon Techs. When we returned to the business to address our concerns, the owner was nasty and confrontational and immediately dismissed the issue, blaming an automatic car wash, which was not the cause. We took the vehicle to a local auto body shop for an independent opinion. Without knowing where the car had been detailed, they confirmed the scratches were not consistent with car wash damage and were most likely caused by a dirty microfiber cloth. We then asked for recommendations on where to take the car for repairs and, coincidentally, they recommended Recon Tech, unaware that this was where the vehicle had been detailed. This auto body shop frequently refers clients to Recon Tech, but after seeing the damage on our vehicle, the owner stated he could no longer, in good conscience, continue referring customers to this business. We gave Recon Tech the opportunity to make things right, but they refused to work with us to resolve the situation.

Finding the location is enough it weird on GPS. Is a building that is in between Reynolds street and Madison street. You can turn onto it from both sides but the front of the building is on Reynolds street. He has two doors/garages so use the door to the far left/corner of the building. Just call and leave and message. My husband took his car for detailing here a year ago and recommended it for me. I'm glad I listened to my husband. ;) It was $225 for my minivan. There were four customers ahead of me, and three more behind me--a steady stream of customers the entire time, plus more vehicles in the Detail Area. I have been to Sparkling Clean Car Wash (across from Walmart) twice. The layout is: the attendant takes your vehicle and vacuums it, then loads it on the track of the automated car wash, then they hand-dry your vehicle--all while you wait in the waiting area. This is not a self-service location. The staff and manager are always friendly. The car wash price plus tip is a tad bit higher than what I would like to pay, but considering all they do, I have no complaints. Consider how much time it takes to wash a car, dry a car, clean all the windows inside and out, vacuum, clean the tires--that's a lot of work. Car Wash Packages are separate from Detail Packages. Don't expect every nook-and-cranny of your vehicle to be clean when you only purchase a car wash. If you want "detailed" then purchase a Detail Package. Both times I purchased the Full Service Wash for $16.95 which includes; carpets and seats vacuumed, soft touch all cloth wash, windows hand washed, tires cleaned, and towel dried by hand. 1) Carpets and Seats Vacuumed: I have two dogs and two cats, and my vehicle has a black interior. Sparkling Clean did a very good job vacuuming my car. Both times, the employees found an item under my seats and placed it in my center console. I was highly satisfied with the vacuuming and their honesty of not stealing/discarding my items. 2) Soft Touch All Cloth Wash: I have no complaints--seems to do a good job. 3) Windows Hand Washed: Super impressed because the windows are super clean inside and out. They cleaned off the doggie nose snot; the annoying amount of dead bugs on the windshield (a hazard of country life); and cleaned off that film from using the defroster and air conditioner. 4) Tires Cleaned: They do a good job on cleaning the rims, and the tire-shine lasts for a couple weeks. 5) Towel Dried By Hand: They dried it thoroughly, without spots or streaks. The day after I had my car cleaned, we had a few small thunder storms. Not sure what Sparkling Clean puts on the car, but my car stayed sparkling clean even after the rain. Too bad it can't stay that way for long considering all the dirt/dust that blows around here in the countryside, lol.

I made an appointment and I can tell you I'll never go anywhere else. Truly the greatest detail. Not only is tim the owner & his crew thorough, they're incredibly punctual, and super trustworthy and kind. During my first detail I left jewelry in the car on accident and he texted me photos mid detail making sure I knew where it was. It was super honorable and loved the honesty! We've now done 2 details and the cars look BRAND new after their service. Trust me- you cannot go wrong with any service at TNS. It is worth every penny!
