After I called the sheriff department. During the conversation I demanded to talk to head sheriff, which is/was Mike Shea. The dispatch person told me he was on vacation for 3 months. No sheriff has 3 months of straight vacation time. Come to find out Mike Shea took 3 months off to run this buisness. You can look up the article in the gladwin newspaper. I found it online. April 11th I believe was the opening date. So....while my mother, Rhea Podgorski committed crimes like perjury to gain custody of my son and stole tax returns and covid relief funds and was/is verbally and mentally abusing my son ...Mike shea , if he didn't take vacation/ sick time and was being paid by the county for those 3 months...its fraud and I believe a federal crime. And his whole office knew so they're complicit in federal crimes.

The stores up north however are hard to come by... There are not as many and their inventory is lacking due to being in a less populated area... It is funny to see how the stock and type of stuff varies so much in different parts of the state. This thrift store is the best one that I have found in Northern Michigan not only is it extremely spacious... The store itself is extremely organized, and you can tell that the owners and staff take great pride in merchandising their product in a way that is easy to shop and thoughtfully placed. I found it incredible how this business is operating I went today for the first time and it is senior day so the deals are very deep and the line is wrapped around the building! It seems like this building was once a mom and pop shop style department store because there are various rooms that organize each department even still with it being a thrift store this location have less furniture and clothing but all the other items are in great supply. Ifound a few great deals and left knowing that I will be back I highly recommend this store if you are into Thrifting and looking for a gift or even a vintage find.
