Bad Attitude - No politeness Her makeup doesnt last more than 1.5 hour She doesn't know how to contour a face. Not everyone has sharp facial features. She doesn't use Setting Spray. She even charges for putting the lashes even if you bring your own lash. She charges me $180 for party hair and makeup in which lowerbun was not even included. She basically charges 90 dollars just to make a pony. My sister's hair were all messed up in the beginning of the party. Never doing the business with her again. read more

I booked Mevi off a recommendation from a friend for myself and bridal party for my recent wedding. She was responsive, had great rates and without even doing a test trial did an amazing job! I gave her an idea of what I was looking for and she was able to pretty much replicate it. My bridesmaids were also very happy with their makeup, even my mom was pleased and she doesn't really like wearing makeup. Mevi did my Nikkah (religious ceremony) makeup, and wow, i cannot even begin to explain how much i loved her service. She was super professional, and she did my makeup exactly how i wanted it to be done. I showed her a picture of how i wanted my makeup and hair, and she did it exactly that way. She was also super friendly and just so comforting to talk to and gave me such confidence on my big day. She was very accommodating with all my concerns in terms of color matching and everything. Amazing!! I found Mevi through IG and was impressed with her work. I contacted her to do my makeup for my graduation and she responded very promptly. At first I thought that I wasn't going to be pleased Bc my face felt so light and as though she didn't put any makeup on. But this is the complete opposite. I was completely in love with her work. My face looked amazing without the heavy feel of a painted face! Also, may I mention that she did both my hair and makeup in only one hour. Mevi is very rude and unprofessional. She talks bad about others to her clients and after she does your makeup you will leave with far less confidence then you had when you entered. Although her makeup is good she is very disrespectful and I wouldn't recommend her if she was the last makeup artist in the state. read more

I don't get my makeup done often but admire artists who can bring a vision to life. I walked into GlamByMevi's chair with a few ideas of what I like and don't like. She really listened to my concerns and in the end I loved my look. I opted for something subtle to compliment my blingy outfit. Wish i could give her more than 5 stars! Had a great experience getting my make up done with Mevi. She was beyond nice and deffffff knows her stuff!!! She is very experienced! The make up she did on me looked beyond AMAZING and it lasted all day. I had my make up done at 630am and it lasted all day. I had initially made an appt for just myself but at the last minute my mom and sister also wanted to get their make up done and she was able to accomodate them. It was my husband birthday this week so I was planning to get a little dressed up. I was deciding on who to chose as my make up artist and one of my friend suggested me to her. I am glad I chose her because she was great! Mehwish, the make up artist, I contacted through her cell number, and made an appointment for Monday. Her charges are pretty decent as for make up and hair she charged me 100$. Cheap much? I think it is reasonable and definitely worth it. However, when you think according to the price you might assume that maybe she is not professional or she just started. As to your and my surprise, she is a professional and have been in this field for more than 6 years. Although she was a later far, according to my appointment, I reached at her place around 6. With my hair and makeup it took her an hour and 35 minutes to finish up with me. She was really sweet and while doing my make up and hair she kept up conversations with me about various topics. It was fun and time passed so quickly! After she was done, I had a look at me. Oh my god it was amazing! The hair was perfect, the makeup, each inch of my face was just perfection. I loved it! Definitely a recommendation for people who want bridal or party makeup with hair. read more
