I have bounced around to different Fort Lauderdale salons after moving here 5 years ago and couldn't quite find a perfect fit with the dozen or so places I have tried out. I wanted an easy low maintenance blond (yes I know, no such thing with blond), and Tomy came through. I came in with three layers of color- dark roots about 2 inches long, bleached muddy blond through the middle and orange ends. It was a disaster grow out. I had a consult with Markie for blonde highlights and to blend in my roots but since Markie couldn't do highlights at the moment, she deferred me to Tomy. I didn't know I was in for a treat. I showed Tomy pics of what I wanted and he insisted that the color I wanted would wash me out and that I would not be happy with the maintenance since I wanted low maintenance. Initially, I was disheartened but I can appreciate his honesty and after he explained what he thought would work better for me yet achieve something close to what I was looking for. I thought I came in for a consult but he worked me in between his clients so that he could show me what he could achieve yet still make me happy. Mind you, the salon was super busy but the man is a multitasking genius! He did a toner and root scrape while Markie did my haircut and Yasleen did my blowout. Did I mention that my color was a disaster? Well, 2 hours later, what was flat and orange and 3 different colors was now bright, golden and well blended. My dark roots melted into the blond so seamlessly, you would think Michelangelo painted it himself. I absolutely love the results!

His salon is conveniently located in the Costco plaza West of 75. My haircut came out excellent. My hair falls just the right way. I already booked a color and blow out for an upcoming wedding. Sebastino uses ammonia free color that is oil based and much healthier for your hair. I loved hearing about his life in Italy, his wife and their upcoming twin girls. He has a wonderful personality and forms a friendship with his customers. He specializes in hair extensions and will give you the best advice possible. The Curl Doula is located along Stirling Rd. behind Crystal Vision in a big brown gazebo looking building called Treehouse Beauty Suites. Parking is limited. The inside of the building was nicely decorated with antique furniture and had a few rooms where individuals run their independent business. Deanna, who specializes in natural hair and coloring, is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about curly hair and techniques on how to care for your natural curls. Before she began the wash service, she examined my hair and asked about my hair routine. Then she discussed what I was doing wrong and gave me tips on how to embrace my natural curls and how to properly care for my hair to achieve healthy hair & growth. She even showed me before and after pics of her clients. I can honestly say, the experience I had with Deanna, I never had with any other hair stylist. She took her time cleansing my hair with a gentle scalp massage while slowly running her fingers through my hair. She showed me how tightly coiled my natural curls were and how soft my hair was becoming. I was amazed. My hair was left to air dry to lock the curls in place. I have never sported my natural curls before so it will take some getting used to. I will practice Deanna's hair care tips and keep watch on my hair's progress.

I paid $400 for a treatment that was promised to last much longer, using Ybera Paris products as advertised. Less than two months later, my hair is already curling again. This product is meant to last 6 months!!! clearly the treatment did not hold up at all. I even bought the recommended shampoo and conditioner by Marcela to maintain the results, but it made no difference. When I confronted Marcela about the fact that she likely never used the Ybera Paris products I paid for, she blocked my number completely. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also dishonest and deceptive. Bella Donna Hair salon is promoting and charging for premium products they are NOT using, which is outright fraud and a breach of trust. I tried to resolve this amicably, but after being ignored and then blocked, I'm left no choice but to take legal action. I am now filing complaints with consumer protection agencies and the official Ybera Paris distributors to expose this scam and protect other clients from being ripped off. DO NOT trust this salon if you want honest service and real results. Beware. Make sure they mix everything in front of you!!! Tell them you want to see the product!
