After reading some of these other reviews, I can tell I am not the only one who has issued with the same "stylist." I didn't get a comfortable feeling the entire time I was there, but I was trying to remain optimistic. This is by far the worst haircut of my adult life. I don't typically leave reviews, but I hope my botched haircut saves someone else from dealing with this. Hair is a very personal thing, and for this woman to call herself a "stylist" and do this is, to say the least, unkind. I have struggled with hair loss/thinning and have spent the last 3 years getting it to a healthy place. I now have to spend more money to have someone else fix this.

So, as the bride, I hired the team on for my bridal party and before signing the contract, I called Sylvia to talk through some of my concerns. I originally felt listened to and felt like we were in a good place to continue going through with them. Boy, was I wrong...on the day of my wedding, the girls came in flustered and asking for food/drinks that I specifically purchased for my bridal party. Not only that, the entire morning was a disaster. Some girls already had full makeup on and the team forgot to airbrush beforehand. I had girls that were criticized for their hair being either too thick or thin. Some girls were criticized for their skin (and when I say criticized, I mean publicly humiliated to the point that they ended up in tears). The hair and makeup was less than sub-par...it was awful. My entire bridal party went upstairs and redid their hair AND makeup to their liking. While Sylvia and team were hired on to make my girls look and feel absolutely beautiful, they did the complete opposite. Though my wedding day was the best day of my life, I am still sickened that my closest friends and family had to suffer through this experience. I even had a conversation with Sylvia after the fact to, again...talk through how I was feeling...to give her, yet again, another chance. And all I received in return were condescending remarks and apologies that backfired (i.e "I'm sorry you had this experience, but my licensed estheticians do what they can...if hair is too thin, they can't just miraculously add volume..."). I'm sorry but if you're a licensed esthetician, you should know the tricks of the trade and add volume where possible - don't just tell the person you "can't". I had 8-10 girls getting their hair and makeup done that day...and if neither of them had the perfect hair or faces to work with then I am not sure what talent this team has. I am sorry to have to write a review like this but I am even more sorry that I hired a team that, I thought, had potential yet completely mortified my bridal party. Please pay attention to all of the signs, if in doubt...move on. I based my selections on reviews and a recommendation. Thankfully my wedding planner, who recommended them, will never refer them in the future either. Yes...it was that bad. Oh ps...if you do use them, don't get eyelashes because they will fall off before it's time to walk down the aisle.

I'm super ticklish and my feet and hands were disasters from running, neglect, and winter. She completely transformed them and didn't give up! Usually people quit on my feet after a minute because I'm too ticklish but she just held on and went for it. They're baby soft. The manicurist was very friendly and did a wonderful job. My wife was very pleased with the experience. So for all my Yelp friends who use this type of service I would suggest give this place a try. One tip is I noticed on Yelp that it had the business closed on Saturday but they are open.

They also don't include blow drying with their services and told me I needed to pay an extra $60 for a blow dry which I had to do because as I mentioned I had a wedding and was already there for many hours over what I had planned. My hair was yellow. It was horrible. Orange and yellow streaky disaster. I mentioned toner and she told me that'd be an additional cost!! I have never heard of toner being an additional cost for any color service. I paid over $300 that day for basically just a terrible bleach job and a very greasy blowout. I couldn't stand looking at me hair so I went back a couple days later and complained to the owner who was supposed to do my hair and she said that the same girl could just tone it for me. She left the toner on my hair while i was sitting in the sink for 45 minutes.... I was extremely uncomfortable and every time I looked at her she would tell me a few more minutes but she was just running around doing nothing. She finally rinsed me and my hair was I shit u not just right back to my original color BROWN. It was the worst waste of time. I told the owner who had the biggest attitude atp that this is nothing like I wanted. Her response was "it'll fade out". Yea not to what I wanted it to look like??! Then after saying this toner would be complimentary since the booking mistake and the stylists mistake they proceeded to charge me $75 for TONER ALONE. As I was speaking to my stylist the owner and 3-4 OTHER stylist came up to the desk area to tell me I had to pay and that my hair was my fault?? Horrible staff, they don't care about what you want done they just want to get paid. I strongly suggest you go somewhere else!
