I am sooo grateful for this space! My daughter was in SERIOUS need of a stylist. I went here and Tiffany has made sure her hair is on point each time. She communicates what's going on with her hair, she is patient, and she tells me the real deal in terms of expectations. Vibe: I like the atmosphere. I haven't ever come across any gossip. No one shamed me or made my daughter feel bad about her hair. I have felt welcomed and everyone is always friendly. We are always comfortable when we get there and even her other clients are polite. Summary: Glam has been in business for quite a few years and based on how she treats her customers, I can see why. My little lady loves it and looks forward to her appointments. She has even started taking pride in her hair with a willingness to tie it up and EVERYTHING. I had a GREAT experience at Glam Hair Studio. They are very attentive to their Customers. My stylist is Tiffany. My Stylist had an emergency so Tiffany assisted me today. They were short staffed and still attended to everyone in a timely manner and/or let the Customers know they would be with them shortly. Very polite. My style was a flexi-rod set, so nothing that required too much work. Very satisfied. Can't wait to see if this was a one time experience based on some of the other reviews I see or not but seems like the service is genuine and will be consistent. read more

She's always on time for appointments and always good vibes. They have even provided food for me as I am getting my hair did.. that's what you call going above and beyond. I am so disappointed and pissed. I will never return back here. First let me start with I had a full consultation with the stylist weeks prior to discuss my hair, what I wanted etc. I get to my appointment no receptionist so I'm sitting there just waiting the stylist texts says running late didn't show up until 35 min later. There was hair and food everywhere like no one cleaned. Cut my hair shorter than I asked for, didn't taper, blend nothing and didn't use clippers to edge my hair up either. My hair looks like someone just took scissors and chopped off pieces and spiked up hair on the top. Just a cut no kind of style you can't even tell I was at a salon because my hair literally looks dull and dry no type of style what so ever. The more and more I look at it the worse it looks and makes me feel. My first time at the salon here and I'm left in disbelief that a stylist would do this and actually charge me almost 100$ . I paid it because I'm not that type of person but I definitely will NEVER return here. I'm looking forward to speaking with the owner ASAP read more

Recently I took my girlfriend to glam hair studio to get her crochet braids for her anniversary present. She was very hopeful and excited. I felt like I had found the perfect present for our anniversary. She looked absolutely gorgeous and you could tell she loved her braids. But after only two days 7 of her braids fell out. She and I both were disappointed and I was very frustrated. I would not recommend going to glam but especially would not recommend getting anything done as a present because it was just a big let down and a big disappointment. I was especially frustrated because I spent 125 dollars on something that was supposed to last for 6 weeks but hasn't lasted for over 24 hours! read more

I went here a handful of times a few years ago and I was always frustrated because even when I booked with the owner I got pushed off to her proteges who could barely do what I asked for. My hair is and at the time was natural and they'd attempt to detangle from the roots with the wrong comb, no detangler, and would attempt to blow FRY my hair straight, even though I requested little direct heat. I tried to be patient there, but each occasion was a gossip fest about foolishness, when the owner wasn't there they'd play music that was so annoying (think soulja boy or something dumber) and they could never replicate what I asked for. Each time they'd do something ugly and they'd be so proud that i couldn't find it in myself to tell them, except this one occassion when I got so pissed. I asked for a simple set of braids in an updo and this girl literally started doing her own thing in my hair, texting, taking photos of Me without my permission and when I said something she was just like oh well this is cuter. I was mostly irritated because it looked ghetto and on top of that took 3 extra hours for her to actually finish it than if she would of did what I asked for. I believe that was the last time I went there. I'm looking on Yelp now for braiding salons which brought this up as an option, that's why the review is on here now. read more
