I first found Jennifer Brun through a Groupon, I was nervous as I had never had this Eyelash Extension thing done before. Jennifer was Wonderful! As soon as I had made an appointment, she was in contact with information on the process and the best way to prepare for the appointment. When I arrived at the salon where she was working at the time (A hard to find place in Poway ) She immediately greeted me and put me at ease, She found a music selection I could relax to made me comfortable and I lay on the salon bed. Once we had done a consultation and I described to Jennifer what I hoped the outcome would be I lay back and let the process begin after laying very comfortably for about an hour (Some of the time I think I was so comfortable I actually fell asleep!) LOL! I awoke to find my Lashes Transformed into beautiful long and cat-like Lashes just as I had asked for! I then flew home to a wedding in Scotland and was amazed that my lashes lasted and lasted through wild and windswept days it was sunny and hot and next day windy and Rainy and my Beautiful Long Jennifer Brun eyelashes lasted! and I had no running mascara!!! Now Jennifer Has Moved to a Lovely New Salon it is bright and very clean and so much easier to find! Just of the I15.. Again Jenifer made the whole eyelash extension experience so lovely. Almost a week ago (This is Sunday night Jennifer did my lashes on Tuesday) I love them even more than the first Time I had them done! This time for a Wedding in San Diego in the scorching heat of late June! Since having them done I have been Dancing! Swimming! Sat in a hot Jacuzzi Slept in them, woke up feeling gorgeous with no black smudges on my face! Also Cried lots of happy tears at my friend wedding! And wiped them with a white cotton and lace Handkerchief(Because I can! No worrying about mascara ruining things like face towels, Hankies,Pillows, My husbands best shirt etc.) I have had twice daily showers! and worn and removed make-up around my amazingly long lashes! (A lot faster as my gorgeous lashes are always done!) I brush them with the little Clean Dry mascara-type wand Jennifer gave me,,then that is it for the rest of the day!! I LOVE going to Jen for my lashes! I have been going to her for my lashes for 9 months now (and counting). She is extremely knowledgable in her field of work. She thoroughly explains proper care of your lashes. Whenever I have a question about my lashes or any beauty products, she knows the answer and is exceptionally helpful! Jenn is one of the nicest people you will ever meet! She will always ensure that you get exactly what you want and will always check in with you and explain what she is doing throughout the process. I was nervous for my first appointment and was a bit on the fence about if I wanted to really get extensions but she spent the first half an hour showing me different options and asking questions and collaborating with me to make sure I ended up with lashes that I would love and would look good on me! I live for my tri-weekly touch ups now as I know I'll have someone to chit chat with and time to relax as she beautifies me! She definitely knows what she is doing and is always very professional. I have been trying to find a great person to do eyelash extensions as I have been through it all! My girlfriend has been seeing Jennifer for about 4 months and loves her. I saw the work she did on my friend and I was very impressed. I finally made an appointment over a busy holiday weekend and Jennifer was very accommodating. Which was a plus. The place was very clean and relaxing. She is very knowledgeable professional, and very easy to talk to. I have had eyelash extensions in the past and I'm not sure if they knew what they were doing bc I could feel the lashes and that is why I decided against them for a long while but now I have gotten a beautiful set from Jen and I couldn't be more pleased with the job she has done. I love the way they look so natural yet give a very noticeable difference. My husband even says he likes them a lot and approves. He typically likes me all natural but really likes how it enhances my eyes. This place where the lashes are done is a nice quiet room and a comfy bed (only thing that hurt me was how I'm not used to lying without a pillow under my head and my neck hurt a bit) but other than that the place is clean. I also just want to say that Jen is a very energetic and sweet lady. She really listens to what you want also gives her advice of what would work best for your eyes. Also she has great prices! I had eyelash extensions done for the 1st time about a month ago. Although I was happy with the technician's work, the location was way too far, so I looked elsewhere. I came across the Groupon that was advertised for Jennifer's shop. After playing phone tag & rescheduling a couple appointments, I was finally able to meet Jennifer. About a week ago I received my very first chemical from Jen. I'm amazed with the results. I always heard how good chemical peels are but I never actually knew myself till I got one. It's been about a week, my skin for the most part is done peeling, just have a few areas that need to finish up till I can see the final results. So far from what I've noticed is my acne scars have basically disappeared by complexion is more even and feels and looks 100X better.
