I really appreciated that she checked in several times throughout the haircutting process to make sure that it was coming along exactly how I wanted it. She even added a few extra touches, like putting in a little extra shine serum(which smelled like fresh strawberries and champagne-LOVE!). The price of my cut was very reasonable and nobody tried to push me into purchasing extra products or services, which I've experienced at other salons (and which pretty much ensures I don't go back). I left the salon with that great, bubbly, new-hair confidence we all hope to get after a service. The only area of improvement I'd mention: During my service I noticed a few other stylists swearing during their conversations. While I personally don't mind, there are more religious or traditional folks in Merced and you may run the risk of offending them with language like this. Just something to consider! I found Mari on instagram randomly and decided to schedule an appointment for facial and waxing…read more She responded and was able to accommodate me in a fast and timely manner. Upon arrival to my appointment I immediately noticed how nice and clean her studio was. She did a skin evaluation on my face and curated a facial regimen specifically for me and my problem areas. The facial itself was phenomenal and had me feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. I ending up falling asleep half way through my session that's how relaxing it was. My skin was literally glowing for the rest of the week. I'll definitely be coming back on a regular basis so I can keep my skin young and fresh. For waxing I ended up doing my arms and underarms. I recommend checking out her instagram as she was running a promotion for free lip or underarm wax with any wax service booked. I was nervous at first as I usually always shave but glad to say the whole process was quick and painless. She talked to me throughout the waxing process and gave me great tips about after care. Denise was super nice and helpful in answering all my questions, giving me a customized layout on how many treatments I would need and best of all she uses organic products! I hate using all this stuff on your face that you cannot pronounce and just "hoping" it won't hurt you later. She is really accommodating in her schedule and after 1 visit my skin felt amazing and most of my bumps were gone. Is it a miracle session? Of course not.
