I have been trying to contact the Dr Dowbak's office for 3 weeks and I have sent text messages but no response. I had surgery BBL/360 lipo in January 2024 and I'm in need of a 'Revision'. It's sad to know that once you've paid all this money for a procedure that was not done correctly you get the run around. I had the damnedest worse experience ever.First off Lydiis took my deposit and I barley heard from her. They had my medical labs way prior to my pre op.I spent travel money, medical things,fajas airplanes hotel food.They are a joke..They told me I was cleared for Sergey once I got there it was an entire different story.Imean they could have told me one of my labs are off,so I can work on fixing it and resulding.The office staff was rude. BEWARE THIS IS A WARNING DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM Where do I start... Well I paid my $500 deposit and booked my appointment for Sept 2021. After booking 3 weeks prior to surgery they canceled me and said I have to reschedule another date. So I scheduled another date in November. Once again it was canceled stating the doctor had a family emergency 30 days prior to the date. Rescheduled for December and was canceled again. I tried to dispute my deposit because at this point I was very upset. The deposit was non refundable. I called for 2 months straight and texted my surgical coordinator. I could never get through or my surgical coordinator never responded. I finally decided to call as a new patient. Guess what I got through. So my date was booked for another surgery. Customer service is so terrible. The never answer their phones, they don't send out information about the surgery. I had to call them 100xs to get my lab prescription. They scheduled me at New life plastic surgery then said I have to go to vixen plastic surgery then 2 days before they said my surgery will be done at Glamorous Life. I stated before I travel to Miami I will be paying my remaining balance with my Care credit card. They said that's fine But they only accept it in person at pre op. Fly to Miami from Chicago. Get there for them to tell me because I'm an authorized user I can't use my card with my name on it. Call care credit and verified my husband and my name, same address and whatever they needed. Still didn't accept my card. Ok so I'll just pay with one of my regular credit cards. Lady at the desk says they can't take credit cards only cash. After going back and forth for two hours they finally accepted my credit card. Didn't give me any instructions about my appointment until 8pm. Supposed to booked my massages. They never booked my massages. When I tried to book they said they have nothing available. I had to find someone in Miami that does post op massages and pay again. This place is a rip off. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, OR IT MAY REALLY COST YOU (LITERALLY)! They stole money from me. The nurse pocketed my money and claimed that I did not give it to her. Then I was supposed to have received a $1,000 refund that the office manager had in an envelope for me, but never gave to me. The $1,000 was for a procedure that I did not receive. They charged my card the FULL AMOUNT instead of $250 for the deposit. They charged me $5,550 on my card. They claimed that the nurse was being fired today, but that is just another lie. So, I paid for my surgery twice, because they also took the FULL AMOUNT from me in cash. If you take a chance on going to this unethical business, please watch your pockets or you may be left with nothing but lent in them!!! read more

So I booked my appointment with this last year snd just called to let them know I cancelled my appointment because I no longer want to get the surgery. They stated I couldn't get my $500 deposit back which is bogus because my surgery isn't until August and it's June. On top of that I asked to speak to a manager and they said one wasn't available. I'm just writing this review on the clinic because I love how the staff ( Jeniffer) answers all my questions and concerns. She always answers in a timely manner ( within 5 minutes or less) and she is very patient with me because I'm always asking her questions and it can get annoying to some people. I booked with Dr. Dowbak from FEB 2020. My date changed due to Covid. Now my current date was july 28th. Ive been calling nonstop. I did my labs. These people tell me that they didn't get my labs when my Doc from the veterans hospital sent it. They removed me from calendar without letting me know. They took my money and lied and said I did a "chargeback". Lawyers are getting involved. This place is a scam and needs to be shut down NOW!!!!!!!!! Juliet borell, lissette perez, racheal, leah, especially LIA SEXTO. She claims to be a manager or whatever she calls herself. The staff is VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Completely unprofessional. They claimed Dr. Dowbak had perfect bedside manner yet she has answered zero of my phone calls or text messages. Lisa has not either. Word to the wise if you have any questions AFTER ur surgery...AFTER you've paid them....save it. Nobody at Glamorous Life cares. Still waiting for the results they claimed i'd see after 3mths. They are connected with New Life Surgery Center. Dr. Dowbak is amazing at what she do. Her bedside manner is out of this world and her work is phenomenal. However, she have the most HORRIBLE, Office staff in the industry. Lia, Rachel, very unprofessional. Once you pay your deposit they treat you like SHIT because if you go somewhere else you lose your money. I've had 1 surgery performed and needed to go back for a revision. I've been lied to, Hung up on and all. There is No way to bypass dealing with Glam Life Office staff. Glamorous does Recovery House is a scam do not go there they will charge you for a package deal and then when you get there the manager her name is Lindsey she will charge you to go pick up your meds she will charge you for transportation she will charge you for food she would charge you for the gummies all this stuff is supposed to come in the package if you pay for that she is pocketing the money and the owners Julian and his wife they are in on it with her the only lawyer person I think that works there is Miss Gloria this place will take your money it is nasty what's Miss Gloria gets there she cleans it they do not turn the beds the way they need to they do not tend to each girl the way they should what the vitals like I said Miss Gloria is the only one that I saw doing what she was supposed to do as a matter of fact a girl from the house one glamorous dolls recovery died Lindsey was not making sure this girl was getting her vitals taken at the proper time I never got my vitals taken only when Miss Gloria got there Lindsay is a awful person she will laugh in your face lie to you in your face and stab you in your bag beware of this place the washer and dryer does not work properly they feed you horrible food after you pay your money you will end up having to order food out everyday the chef supposedly chef cannot cook as well this s*** they do you can do at home. I did surgery 5 months ago, I've seen before and after pics that are amazing even with women that were much bigger than me so I decided that I would give doctor dowbak a try, some parts of my body I noticed weren't barely touched or touched at all because they looked the same (it wasn't numb) so I knew it wasn't swollen so I called them and they told me to give it some time, now I call them and they won't retouch me unless I pay I mean I don't want to redo the entire surgery only the spots that they didn't remove fat from but they don't want too. The day of my surgery I heard someone cursing the doctor out telling her several things but I just didn't pay mine because I know miracles can't be done either and you'll always have someone that complains. Now 5 months after my surgery I'm not really satisfied and now that I'm thinking about it I don't think it was dowbak who did the surgery because there were other girls coming out around the same time as myself and I didn't have a complicated surgery . I've heard of cosmetic surgery's doing this type of thing but didn't think it would ever happen to me. read more

This place is HORRIBLE! I think it should be shut down. I had a tummy tuck here and they ruined me. I look worse than what i did before i got it. Its completely botched and uneven. They didnt even do all the lipo that they claim they offered along with the tummy tuck. I also paid for fat transfer which wasnt done. Im so disappointed because it cost me alot and it wasnt worth it at all. Another thing theres a nurse i believe her name is Johanna i paid for her to take care of me afterwards and i now realized that i didnt get what i paid for either. I was told she was supposed to help me get up every time i needed to use the rest room or do any thing else but she didnt. She checked up on me once a day.
