No titre testing provided or recommended. We have four rescue dogs. The cost of veterinarian services is outrageous. No grace is given for bringing multiple dogs. My family has owned a business my entire life. I'm fully educated on price and cost. Only, veterinarians should be aware of and help support those trying to help shelter animals. This business may help in other ways this client is unaware of. Only, their clients, perhaps, could be shown some deference. Overall, recommend for (nonfunctional/holistic)

I have used two other groomers in Cheatham Co. but wasn't overly impressed. I always use the hair salon next door to Bow Wow, so one day I decided to make an appt. I have three dogs and Bow Wow has completed four groomings. All the people in the shop are very nice. I'm glad I found Bow Wow because they do a great job on my furbabies.

When I called to set up the appointment I recounted our experience with the other groomer, and the employee I was speaking with was appalled at my story. I asked if their groomers were skilled in scissor-cutting double-coated dogs. She asked me to hold while she consulted the groomer. As it turns out, the groomer who took care of my dog has owned Pomeranians in the past and is well-versed in how to groom them properly WITH scissors. So I made the appointment and was told that it would probably be only 60 to 90 minutes. That was surprising for a bath, haircut, and nail trim...or maybe I'm just used to the other groomer and their 3 hour grooming windows. Riley's even calls to give you a 15 minute heads up that the grooming is almost complete. My girl looked good when I went to pick her up. She had a bath (presumably with unscented doggy shampoo since she didn't smell like an exotic dancer.) She even had a little bow in her hair. That was a nice touch. Maybe next time I'll ask them to paint her toenails. The most important thing is that she made my baby look like a Pomeranian again. It's gong to take a while longer to get her coat fully restored, although it may never grow back properly 100%, but the groomer was able to even things out so it doesn't have that weird look that we'd had before. At any rate, I'm pleased with the job Ms. Jackie did, and we'll be back.
