Best nail salon in town by far! Very friendly and efficient. Easy online appointment scheduling…read more Good value!

I didn't love this salon, unfortunately. I went with a friend and we both got a voila signature…read morepedicure with gel French. They have 5 pedicure options ranging from $41-$79. Our pedicure was $168 before tip. $20 of this price was unknown as to where it came from as the pedicure should've been $59 each plus $15 each for gel.. Given the price we had high expectations as where we normally go for our pedi is priced similar but with a completely different spa like experience. Let me start by saying that the menu we were handed was covered in some sort of goop and I was shocked that they wouldn't clean it off or offer a towel for our hands. We picked the third highest pedicure on their list that supposedly had offerings that the entry level pedicures didn't. But, since the lady next to me picked the cheapest pedicure I found out we got the exact same pedicure for different prices? They used the same oils and lotions out of bottles that look like they would hold ketchup at a BBQ restaurant with no label so who knows what it actually was. Normally, when you choose different pedis a nice salon will have different scents to choose from or a bath bomb or scented salt soak for your feet or specially scented oils but nope. Just unscented what seems to look like vegetable oil. Additionally, we weren't offered a drink. We weren't told where the massage remote was for our chairs causing us to go half of our pedicure without one, we were given extremely rushed leg massages with a max time of 5 minutes and at the end, the girl who gave my pedicure just walked away and never came back. I sat there wondering should I put on my shoes and go pay or if she would return? To add to this as if it isn't bad enough, we also didn't get the reflexology that is mentioned on their menu. The menu is filled with fluff that isn't clear on what you will receive. If you do decide to go here, which I advise against, just get the cheapest and prepare for disappointment.

Im not from this area so I asked a friend where to go to get a nice pedicure. I called and made…read moreappointment and during appointment I explained I wanted my "big" toe fixed. My big toe breaks all the time and it catches on socks so I have to have it fixed. . My large toe nails are both broken/half there. When I get there I explain I had an appointment. Yeah yeah! I had booked the appointment with a lady. So the man at a station come over. I explained about what I need for the two toes. I said I can show you photo. No no, I fix. Then I get my feet in the water. I ask, how much. They had me just a chart of scents. I ask again. No, there is no price. She states $45.00 I said, is that with the acrylics on the toe. Yes yes. He gets started. I notices he is drilling all my toes. So I mention. I just wanted the big toes acrylic the rest just polished. He just keeps going. While doing the cuticle work he nips me pretty good and draws blood. I understand that can happen. I said nothing. (My nails had nothing on them. I had not had polish on in months) no reason to SAND the toe nails. He then proceeds as normal. Then he slaps on the acrylic. And only does the part that is missing. I'm like, that doesn't look right. He must be gonna let it dry. They he does the other toe the same way. He never brings the acrylic down on the whole toe. He lightly sand it but doesn't buff it, I'm like hmmm. Then he starts to put polish on, no base coat! Then proceeds to polish all the nails. I'm like, hey..: these toes are bumpy, they didn't understand. I said lumpy. Lady tells him. He snaps in his native language that he wasn't finished. She tells me he wasn't finished. Like, that's odd he is polishing the nail. She said, he will make right. He continues to paint my toes. I say, it's still very lumpy cuz you didn't do the whole toe. He then proceeds to just FILL in with Polish. I say, now you know that is not right and it's not gonna dry. He still is trying to get my other toe to stop bleeding. Uggg, so I decide that I'm just not gonna tip him well. When I go to leave she says $50. I said, you told me $45 plus he filled in my acrylic with polish. She just looks at me. I noticed I didn't have the right change I had her $60 and she says "thank you" I say. No no you owe me $10 and then I will tip. She says, NO CHANGE. I'm like, wtf! Now mind you, I'm not one to usually speak up, I let people walk all over me I'm told. So again I said. No I would like my change. The man who did my pedicure shouts BYE! So no, I will not go back and I'm gonna yell at my friend for recommending this One positive is the place did seem very clean.

When my pedi color (opi bubble bath) wasn't set in 3 coats, my nail tech added 3 more to my big toe. Then the unthinkable.....when putting on my sandals, we both bumped that same toe. He went back to clean up and recoat my nail. You don't always find that consistency and willingness to help. I reflected that in my tip. Pedi with sugar scrub and hot towel was $35, there was another upgraded service as well. You'll find five nail stations and five pedicure chairs. Simple setup, again great customer service experience.

This experience highlighted the importance of proper communication between the client and technician to ensure expectations are clearly understood and to provide safe, satisfactory service. I came in hoping to have my nails filled. I was greeted by Kim and then assigned to another technician. The technician did not speak English, so communication was very difficult. I asked Kim to help translate. I was told that they recommended starting over with a new set, although I did not fully understand the reason. I agreed. During the removal of my existing gel, the technician filed my nails and then used a piece of plastic to chip away the old gel. In the process, the top layer of my natural nails was also removed. I have very thin nails, and this was painful. I asked Kim to explain this to the technician, but communication remained difficult. The technician then began preparing my nails for tips. I specifically explained that I did not want tips because I cannot tolerate nail glue. I requested gel or powder instead. By that point, however, my nails had already been cut very short. Kim then took over after finishing with another client. When Kim asked what shape I wanted, I explained that I wanted a natural shape--not pointy or square. I tried several times to explain that I simply wanted the corners rounded. The communication continued to be difficult, and I felt that Kim was increasingly frustrated with me as a client. Eventually, while working on my nails, she suddenly began cutting them very short. When I questioned what she was doing, she told me she would not continue the service, that there would be no charge, and that she needed to cut off what she had done. She then told me to go somewhere else. This happened at approximately 6:55 p.m., when most other salons were already closing, leaving me with very short, damaged and painful nails and nowhere realistic to go for help that evening. I understand that communication difficulties can happen, but I expected patience, professionalism, and care--especially when I was clearly experiencing pain and trying to explain what I wanted. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left me very disappointed. Based on my experience, I would not return.
