But after she left, I tried another stylist who did a two-strand twist with human kinky hair extensions. She was nice, but supplemented some synthetic Marley hair, which didn't match the original hair. The style wasn't exactly what I wanted, but I was willing to live with it. However, things took a turn when I requested a touch-up. I ordered more human hair to replace the synthetic parts, and the stylist agreed to do the touch-up. But while I was traveling, some extensions fell out, and I got ignored when I texted her. After washing my hair from the salt water when I went in the ocean, chunks of hair came out, and I reached out again - still ignored. When I contacted the owner, Margo, I expected a timely response, but it took almost 5 days to get a reply and that was after I had to follow up. The lack of professionalism and communication was shocking, especially since the salon's initial services I received were great. I'm disappointed that my hair didn't last even a week, and I'm out $155 plus tip. Unfortunately, this experience has left a bad taste, and I'm taking my business elsewhere. I'd recommend finding a new salon experience, as the inconsistency and lack of accountability are not worth the risk. Time, money and hair care is priceless. Seek better.
