NEVER CALL DorMar!…read more First - I have tried to resolve our problems w/ DorMar personally, but DorMar will not take responsibility for TOTALLY failing to simply clear a drain clog! Instead they placed a "Mechanic's Lean" on our house for work we did not need AND which they installed defectively! They want $3500 for something they never completed and they wired incorrectly! We called DorMar for an "emergency" w/ clogged drain shutting down ALL our house drains w/ sewage coming backup in the lower level. No toilets could be used. But it took DorMar 2 DAYS just to show up! No weekends? Lack of Qualified "Plumbing" staff.? Then when the tech shows up he thinks he's there for an inspection and instead of trying to the EASY (cheap) way and snake the drain the DorMar "expert" tell us we needed a new lift pump and the septic tanks drained. DorMar quoted $3500 that would incl a $2000 pump!! ** Dor-Mar KNEW the septic tanks were drained and a new pump installed just 13 months before. Should be good for 3-5 yrs! But neither the first tech nor his "manager" could explain how something in the septic tank caused our clog drain problem and - again - they NEVER SNAKED THE MAIN DRAIN - so how would they know? Then when NOTHING DorMar did ALL DAY Friday worked to clear the drain m, both DirMar techs decided to abandoned the job around 7p - still leaving us with sewage for the weekend!! (No weekends!!) After DorMar left, their subcontractor (pumper truck) discovered that DorMar installed the pump INCORRECTLY - so it was always running! We had to cut the main power to the pump! We find later the floats were not wired correctly! DorMar is also trying to bill us for "video inspection" by the pumping contractor. But he states he never did any video inspection! And I stood beside him! DorMar abandoned us Friday night without inspecting their work and the pump was dangerously wired incorrectly bypassing the alarm panel. Do these DorMar "plumbing" guys know anything about electric?? Being abandoned we called others to correct DorMar's screwup. 1. It took only 20 min to clear the drain $165 and DorMar had TWO "experts" here until 7p and they FAILED!! 1.1 - it took the pump contractor less than 2 hrs to REPLACE the DorMar oump and install a new pump. DorMar was here all day and FAILED!Cost - only $880 and DorMar is charging $3500 with no details!! 2. DorMar failed to PROPERLY wire / install a replacement pump. 3. DorMar is not licensed in Licking County for septic systems 4. DorMar said the invoice includes $2000 for a 1-1/2 hp pump, But they only installed a 1/2hp pump that sells on internet for under $500! 5. DorMar is trying to charge $3500 vs. under $1000 for the same work performed by 2 other contractors - and their pumps were wired correctly!! 6. Our final pump contractor will testify the DorMar pump was overkill for a 10' lift and WAS NOT WIRED CORRECTLY! 7. Our Drain contractor will testify that he only took about 15-20 mins to clear the drain. DorMar could not fix it w/2 people after 8 hrs AND TOTALLY misdiagnosed the problem. 8. We felt the DorMar techs were only there to "upsell services" and "take advantage" of some old folks! 9. FINALLY - after TOTALLY failing at everything they did and lying about the actual equipment being installed and FAILING to install a new pump correctly and trying to take advantage of a couple "seniors" - we had to hire others to do it correctly. 10 - DORMAR is not concerned with this total failure in every aspect of their customer service and the incompetence of their techs. Instead of trying to correct their problems they filed a MECHANICS LEAN. Do NOT trust DorMar to do "the right thing"!

This place has been an absolute nightmare from the moment we signed up. The initial installer told…read moreus from the get go that we did not have a good setup for this service but said he could make it work and drilled a hole in our wall to make it work. After putting it next to our washer and dryer, up against the wall and a terrible installation, it leaked all over and has ruined the dry wall and other parts of the home on top of causing the last two water bills to increase 300% of what we were paying before installation. When we had a tech come out to check and "fix" the problem, he told us he took a bunch of pictures and attached them to the service report and that PureH2O would send a certified contractor out to estimate the cost of repairs and get it done for us. All we wanted was for them to take the system back because we hadn't made a payment on the system as of that time. We were told "do not wait for the company to call you, stay on them and they will take care of it". They claim to have fixed the leak so we started the process to get the home fixed. (We wanted out of the whole entire process but they told us there was only a 3 day return policy which makes no sense because we didn't know the extent of the damage and leak until we received our first water bill at $160 for the month. Upon discussing the options with them they continually told us "we will make this right". Since that conversation, a service manager came out and tried to tell us all of the ways we needed to cut into our air ducts or wall to provide a new space to put the system. When we refused to adjust the integrity of our house they said the system could stay where it is and we shouldn't have any more problems with it. After speaking to another person this morning, they told us that all of the things we said happened didn't happen and that the people who serviced our system did not take pictures and told them there was no damage to the home. (We have pictures and video and both service techs stated they took pictures and saw the damage as well). They also stated the original installer put in the report that there was no dryer or washer when they installed the system which was a complete lie that we have proof of. Long story short, this company sucks and I would not recommend. They will lie to you, try to turn the blame on you, and not honor anything that they tell you they will do to "make it right". Part of my short term goals in my life now is to make sure no one else falls victim to this criminal company. Do not do business with this company, you will regret it.

In all my years as a service manager I have never responded to a customer with "LET ME STOP YOU "! This person must not know how to respond to a paying customer that has a issue. They have caused our company to incur extra costs for our CPA to try and figure out what they have charged because it NEVER matches with our invoices. They will not tell us where credits are applied. Unfortunately we have thousands of customers that we sold Puronics to and parts are needed. It takes months to get parts and equipment in. They have caused us to lose clients by not shipping at a reasonable time.

I bought mine out of Columbus Ohio and have been on hold a total of 2 hours the past 3 days of calling. I have left my call back number and sent 2 emails asking for an appointment but not a reply. If you do have a leaf system make sure you find out what filters to use and buy them yourself. I also have the UV lamp and once I find out who to purchase that from I wont have to deal with these people ever again!
