They do not stand by their warranty! the rear passenger side window of my jeep shattered in 2023. They issued me a receipt for a three year warranty. Yesterday on May 12, Mother"s Day, it shattered again. Either it was the heat or it was not put on properly the first time. We called them and they said that how do they know that we didn't deliberately smash it and how do they know that it's defective?!!!! Are you kidding??? They wouldn't replace it!!! Never again! Don't use this company. So instead of arguing over $225 we called another company. Horrible service!!! read more

My windshield needed replacing, so I called different glass companies. After several National Companies tried to tell me to let them file my claim and specifically asked me NOT to file it, I was worried I would never find an honest company to work with. I started reading reviews specifically looking for locally owned companies while also filing the claim, when I saw Glass Act's reviews and they came up as an authorized vendor with my insurance it was a no brainer. Rick called me within 2 hours of the claim, scheduled for first thing the next morning, and he was honest and informative. Today for my appointment he was prompt to the minute when he said he would be, he did wonderful work - his craftsmanship is second to none, and he was even able to remove my gate decal from my former windshield so I could still use it! While I do not have glass needs often, I will choose Glass Act and Rick 100% of the time moving forward. read more

I am so happy I found Rick. My car was broken into last night through the vent glass. The thieves stole equipment from my trunk that was worth over $500 in total. I called my insurance company and was told I had a $500 deductible I had to meet before they could help me. Geico referred me to "Safelite Auto Glass" as one of their "trusted partners". I called Safelite, and was given a long story about how the part was hard to find and hard to install, and then they quoted me nearly $300!!! As a college student, there was absolutely no way in hell I could afford that kind of repair. I googled glass repair shops for other quotes, and Glass Act was the first one I found. I called the number and Rick answered. He was very nice and was shocked when I told him how much I was being quoted by the other comany. I was able to make a same day appointment with him to get my glass repaired. I paid less than half of what I would have paid if I had used a major company (including the price of the vent glass)!! Called him Wednesday afternoon told him what window, type of vehicle & my location. He called me back right away (less than 5 minutes) told me he could come the next day Thursday between 10-12. After getting our truck broken into on a Sunday, I contacted rick and he called me back in less than 5 minutes. Said he will show up between 8 and 9 am and gets there right in time. Got the job done, would've been quicker if I had found a closer outlet to connect vacuum too but he was very patient and understanding! Amazing price, half the price of what Safelite quoted us. What a great Company. We have about 29 windows, 2 double patio doors and a glass entry door. Jordan and Brian did the job perfectly for $250. Not only that they power washed my garage doer when I mentioned it had a lot of sand on it. They use treated water to clean windows which leaves them sparkling clean and our windows were pretty dirty because we live in a newly constructed subdivision. Jordan, the owner, is very personable and a real sticker to details. For example, he showed me where one of my large windows had several spots of mortar on it which they removed by scraping. I can't recommend this Company highly enough. Oh and did I mention, they were the low bid by almost $100 from the two other bids I got. If you need a window cleaner, you're crazy if you don't call Glass Act. read more

A+ service. My glass was broken on a Sunday afternoon by someone that took my purse, wallet, checkbook, cards, and all my money. Needless to say, I was devastated, and also broke for the rest of the month. I called my insurance and they recommended Safelite, but I would have to wait for 2 days for the appointment, they charged extra for home visit, and I could not afford their price. It was also practically impossible to drive the car as it was, so I had to replace the glass or stay home. I found Rick on Yelp and because of the great reviews I decided to give him a call - best thing I did today. Rick was very responsive, he told me to send him pictures of the car and the broken glass to make sure he was getting the right replacement. He came to my address the same day, at the time promised. He did a phenomenal job, and charged me 1/2 the price I had quoted with Safelite - which I could borrow from my kid and afford to pay. You will have to provide an outlet for his extension chord so he can vacuumed the glass (if needed.) Replacement took less than an hour and cost $145 less than I was quoted from SafeLite.
