Next, we set up a time for them to come out to my house to repair the windshield for Friday. On Friday morning, another rock hit the windshield of one of our other cars! Now, it looked like I was going to have to repair two windshields. Godspeed called on Friday morning to give me an eta. They arrived right on time. They looked at my Lexus and let me know they could repair it. When Godspeed looked at the other car, he informed me that the crack was superficial and would not need to be repaired. They could have easily soaked me for an additional repair and didn't. After he repaired my Lexus he informed me that the repair didn't get into all of the cracks. He said there was a 10% chance the crack would spread. Godspeed has a 100% guarantee that the windshield will not crack after their repair. Thus, he WASN'T GOING TO CHARGE ME. I paid him for the work because he came all the way out to the house, did a repair, didn't screw me on the other windshield, and was as nice as could be. We fled the people's republic of CA. That type of customer service would NEVER happen in CA! I give Godspeed Auto Glass five stars!!! I fully recommend them for windshield repair.

I have a Jeep and after 9 years, the windshield developed a crack. I went to LG and they quickly replaced it. A week later, and a rock on the interstate left a star shaped crack. I was thinking it was my bad luck, but then it happened two more times. A month after getting the windshield, a huge crack started down the center. I called LG and was told that Jeep's are just hard on windshields, which I imagine is true, but then she told me that this happens all the time and some people have said that another, tougher, brand of glass works better. I ran a ballpoint pen down the crack, as instructed, and noticed no indication that the crack was caused by a strike. This would mean it would be covered under warranty. LG sent out an installer who said it was caused by a strike, even though there was no proof by their own standard. They offered to replace it again for a slightly lower cost. I told them I couldn't afford to have a new windshield installed EVERY month for $300. This is the nicest shop I'll never use again. In short, my windshield last for NINE YEARS and then was replaced by Lawrence Glass and lasted ONE MONTH. Very disappointing.
