Guessing he had to take them off and didn't properly tighten one of them back down. Luckily it's the passengers side and could still see out of my half when it happened. I'll take a look at it on a nice day and see what the actual problem is. Also my windshield liner was pretty beat up after, but after inspecting it, its all dry rotted and probably would have been impossible to replace without chipping that up a bit.. and after looking into it further I can replace that one piece pretty easily.. it would have been 5 stars but.. you know, windshield wiper... I get it it's easy to forget to tighten a bolt. We are all only human.

We heard about wny glass and called at 8am today when they opened, they said to bring it in in 30 minutes. We brought it in expecting it to take an hour or 2. We sat in the comfy clean show room/lobby and had complimentary delicious coffee. They literally custom cut and glued a new mirror on for him in 20 minutes flat for under $40. Our minds are blown! I read a thing that they do windshields too so I asked. They'll be able to get it in and changed in a few days MUCH cheaper than safelite and will help you do the ins claim if you have glass coverage too. Amazing above and beyond customer service. Throughout the showroom they have beautiful shower doors, windows, and mirrors they make on display as well. They're the place for us from now on. We highly recommend them!

Marty and Shane came out to do the repair while we were in Amherst and discovered the wrong side had been sent. The return was made while a new piece was sent out. They then came to the Rochester area to do the replacement. Couldn't have asked for a better job. They were very thorough, clean and efficient. They take pride in their work and the end result shows. It took about an hour and while one might wonder what made service so good.... I had one replacement that left me with a piece of glass on my dash that had my inspection sticker etc on . He explained before I came in what was exactly needed and what my windshield had as far as the camera, defroster, and sensors. Spent time to be sure glass was put in correctly and did not rush. Explained what to do and not do for the next few days and even gave some swag! I know why this is an insurance-preferred place - they are AMAZING!
