Today our glass shower door was put in by Glass Castle from Lawrence, NJ. What a great job they did, from the very beginning when they came out to measure. It looks great and took about 2 1/2 hours to put in. It did take a month for the glass to be ordered but that is not too bad. They worked with us and gave us a lower estimate than other companies. Overall the finished product is acceptable, however the process to get there was not! 1. A measurement error could have meant a thousand-dollar mistake for GC and a week long delay for me. A copious use of silicone allowed for the long, wide gap on the return panel to be "hidden". 2. Damage occurred to the fiberglass shower base when the installer attempted to remove old caulk with a razor blade. Old caulk on tiles was ignored which meant hours of MY elbow grease with Goo Gone and a pumice stone. 3. A plastic piece of "trim" was omitted from initial install. Water was sliding down the inside of the door and then shooting under the gap and onto the floor. A potentially damaging situation to the room below! $3K should buy better craftsmanship than what I received. read more

We remodeled our master bathroom and the quote we received from the shower door contractor we were working with was way higher than was originally estimated so we decided to get a second quote. Glass Castle came highly recommended to us so we reached out and they were able to come measure 2 days later and provided us with the quote the following day. It was 60% lower than the original quote so we went with Glass Castle and SO glad we did. The install was less than 3 hours and it looks amazing. Wonderful experience, employees and product! I needed a shower door installed in our brand new bathroom...called Glass Castle, who sent someone out to measure on a Saturday. The guy who measured was very nice, and told me that I could expect an estimate on Monday. By Wednesday, I hadn't heard anything, so I called and spoke to a receptionist who told me that the manager does all of the estimates, and that it usually takes 2-3 days. As it had already been that long, I asked if I should expect a phone call later that day, and she took my name and number and said that she would have the manager call me back with the estimate. Long story short, it has now been 4 weeks, and I never heard anything back from Glass Castle. Why bother to send someone out to measure, and then never follow-up?? I wouldn't waste my time contacting these guys. read more

I tried for weeks to get someone to call me back about a simple glass door install in a bathroom. I finally went to their show room to get an appointment. On the morning of the appointment they called me to ask if I could do it earlier then 3, but I explained I couldn't. At 2 they called to tell me they were there and if I couldn't get there right then, they would leave. "I can't have my guy sitting there for an hour" was the explanation. As a business man and a contractor, I can tell you, stick to your appointment times. I don't want to do business with a company that can't fulfill their appointments. Not a good sign for the rest of the process. I'll go elsewhere. read more
