I am extremely frustrated with the lack of communication from this company. My dresser was picked up on March 30 and I have not received any response to my inquiries since April 1 from Melissa. I have called over 10times AND sent texts and its been radio silence from Restore US Cabinet. This is not the way to conduct business. I was told it would be 10-12 days to complete. My older kitchen cabinets, but otherwise in fine condition, had many broken hinges. During the initial consultation I was told the hinges are an old type and had to be sourced as they are not an on the shelf hinge. RUS eventually found the correct hinges and installed them and realigned the cabinets. Cost was reasonable. The technician knew what he was doing and happily answered all questions I asked of him. I contacted this company to restore my 50 year + chest of draws I sent them a picture of it and we spoke about wanting it the same shade or darker or lighter I wanted the same with the glow it had it and we agreed on a price which was a bit much $525.25 but told myself it's worth it. It was picked up by 1 guy that did a good job taking it out to his small suv alone. They had it for about a month ok so it's covid I understand but am calling and texting no reply they did send me a picture of how it looked I was so excited of cause it was taken outside in nature light that made it sparkle mind you this was the first time I ever did something like this and I was super excited it did come back after 8 pm so now am dealing with light from a bulb it still look ok but that's it it only looked ok I told the same man that took it that it looks dull he said he will talk to then and come back with a shine and fix it I called and left many messages because now it's daytime and am seeing just how dull it looks places that could take some filler knows, that could have shine, and disgusting draws oh back track I did tell the man about the inside he said they don't do inside draws unless the customer request it am confused if I hire someone to build a house don't he build the inside and outside that was never mentioned to me so fast forward I gave him the check without hesitation in wanting to support a black owned company in covid times I made so many calls the same man called me back and said the office was closed due to the virus but dam it's 2 months now and he never came with the shine and nobody from the company returned my call I was so frustrated by how it looked it took me an additional month before I could put back my clothes in it as all I could think of when I look at it is a dead person that a funeral home was trying to put make up on but the dead was still showing that's the only way I could describe my chest of draws it just looks dull like it died it's just DEAD. read more

Ron is the BEST!!!!! He is professional, polite, fairly priced and thinks outside the box to make things work like new. He took down and repaired my kitchen cabinet that was coming off the wall. He also replaced faulty door hinges and drawer tracks. He wore a face mask because of Covid and booties over his shoes so he wouldn't dirty my floors. I had my kitchen cabinets refinished a number of months ago and forgot about it until my sister came over recently and complimented them. I had good wooden cabinets that I liked very much but the finish had gotten very worn. They came in and took all the doors back to their workspace and then had 2 workers do the facings. They didn't do the insides of the cabinets but mine were in very good shape. The finished job looks very good. I'm doing 4 stars instead of 5 because of communication was sometimes difficult. We got paperwork to sign after they started painting and had nothing in writing about guarantees or how many layers were done. That was really my fault for not following up but we were having other jobs done at the same time. At one point one of the refinishers at my house using a darker finish then we wanted but when I pointed it out it was corrected very agreeably and everyone I worked with was very pleasant. I would have had a coffee table refinished too but they took a picture and never got back to me with a price. Like many companies post COVID they may just be very busy. I'm happy with my like new cabinets. read more
