Believe it or not, most of the utensils we used atm are dated way back in 70's and even our table lamps, couch and decoratives are antique. My bandit preciously had an eye on antiques and wished that we could have spend more time in here than the infamous Akaka Falls. As our rental car followed the road along the old mamalahoa highway, bandit and I decided to stop by on this small town and check out few of the stores within the area. And of course this store caught his attention. Stepped inside and we were greeted by this not so friendly old man. I didn't pay attention on him after coz I don't wanna see an old man mad coz I'm too tired from juandering anyways. Bandit amusingly staring every bottles to bottles displayed on the racks. Meticulously examine the year it came from and I am convinced that bandit surely love the store instantly. Interesting stuffs like receipts dated way back from 1950, from someone's memorabilia to letters from pre-WWII will make you amused as well. Bandit ended up buying some postcards with messages at the back. I will highly recommend you to make a stop pit on this store and support local. Visiting this store is like time travel from the past as you feast your eyes on the displayed collections. The owner definitely living on it every day and glad we are able to see the wonders of happy and sad memories from the past through prints & glasses. Mahalo for reading and happy juandering fellow yeeps.

What a wonderful selection of glass pieces. The owner is a very sweet woman. I enjoyed talking with her!

We stopped in on our way back from Akaka Falls and did not leave empty handed.

But with a keen eye you'll see a vintage surfboard hanging on the wall next to a sign that reads, "Antiques". I wasn't looking for anything in particular, nonetheless I was a curious cat so I veered on in. It was like stepping back in time. Think about any decade and you'll find something cool. The atmosphere is kinda like going to your grandparents house, patina with a sprinkle of dust. And throughout every corner you'll discover some randomly distinctive knickknacks. Everything I saw was an awesome deal and you definitely find items of value. A few things that caught my eye and sent me back were the collectable toys, coins, guitars, skateboards, furniture, kitchenware, glasses, and of course the vintage records. My personal favorite was a record of "Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon." As the nostalgia echoed memories from my past an hour maybe two flew bye, and yet I could have spent the rest of my afternoon there lost in time. The keeper of this treasure chest is Ray. He's a super chill dude with a great sense of humor and plenty of talk story too. Ray knows his stuff and can tell you anything you need to know about anything you find in his treasure chest. A famous Captain named Jack Sparrow once said, "Not all treasure's silver and gold, mate."

I really appreciated this since all other stores were closed. His toddler granddaughters being so friendly were a wonderful cherry on top! Great place.
