Fist they came out and measured everything. They showed up when they said and fixed several windows at a fair price. All good

Have used both the Branson and Hollister Glass Pro. They truly are the best at what they do.

I contacted Albert's Auto Glass and three other local auto glass companies for quotes.  Albert's was the highest quote by about 20%.  I contacted them, gave them the price quotes from their competitors, and asked if they could come a little closer in price.  I specifically stated that I wasn't asking them to match the lower prices, just get a little closer.  I offered to pay in cash to save them credit card and transaction fees, if that would help.  They ignored my request completely.  I sent it again a day later, in case it slipped through the cracks somehow.  They ultimately responded to the second attempt.  The response I received was, "Due to the stock on this product, this is the best price I can do."  No other explanation was provided.  They were keeping prices elevated due to supply...in other words price gouging. None of this company's competitors seemed to have stock issues and none of them increased their prices "due to stock."  In fact, the company I chose to use had no problem with stock, got me in on the same day I contacted them to schedule the work, and was 20% lower in price that Albert's.  I don't know if the stock issue cited for Albert's higher price is real or not.  All I know is I had no trouble at all getting the job done all in one day...at the  normal price.  It's obvious by Albert's own admission that supply chain issues are why they're inflating their prices.  Convenient excuse or real issue?  Either way, do you want to do business with such a company when there are other choices that aren't trying to take advantage of supply chain tightness by charging you more? After I decided to use another company, I contacted Albert's Auto Glass to let them know.  I also provided them copies of the quotes that I received, in case they wanted documentation of competitor pricing for their own benefit.  I summarized my experience and interactions with them and explained why I chose a competitor.  Their response was, and I quote, "...we do not need your business!"  Their other comments and subsequent communications with me were equally unprofessional and even personally insulting. For those interested, Albert's Auto Glass specifically told me, "Safelite and Auto Glass Now are not my competition."  I'm not sure what they mean since they're all auto glass companies, but I guess if you're seeking competitive prices or similar service to Safelite or Auto Glass Now, you should not expect it from Albert's Auto Glass.  I've used both Safelite and Auto Glass Now many times.  Their pricing is better than Albert's and their customer service is considerably better.  They're far more customer-oriented and business-minded.  So, I guess it's a good thing Albert's isn't trying to compete with them.  Maybe Albert's is more of a boutique auto glass company or specializes in something specific?  I'm not aware of any thing like that, but I would take Albert's word for it -- they are not trying to compete with Safelite and Auto Glass Now. And they don't. I cannot comment on the technical quality of their work as I did not hire them.  But I strongly recommend avoiding Albert's Auto Glass.  There is nothing positive to say regarding my interaction with them.  They are not price competitive.  Their customer service is as bad as it can be.  I found them to be ungracious, unprofessional, and insulting. By their own admission, they are not competing with Safelite or Auto Glass Now.  So if you're just looking for new glass on your daily driver, you can probably skip Albert's Auto Glass.
