My experience with him was short & sweet-- which is how I would like it to be when trying to fix a window from a break-in (aka let's get it over with so I move on w/my life). Too bad Jose doesn't own a restaurant or something-- he's the type of business owner I'd be a loyal returning customer to except in this scenario lol. I admired his work ethic-- he has a very laid-back, down-to-earth & sincere energy. It turned out my window was super complicated & he had underquoted me. He asked if I wouldn't mind paying a little more (10 bucks) & that at this point it would just cover his technician & he wouldn't make money off of it. I agreed because I can tell when ppl are being shammy & he was being genuine. They start to work on the door for a minute & realize it's the wrong window. My car is a Subaru Outback but it takes a Subaru Impreza window- WTH idk what that's about but certainly not their fault. Also, most windows are straight with 2 holes to bring it up & down-- my friends had warned me I had a complicated window which sure enough Jose & his technician confirmed. It had 6 holes, it curves & goes down & in (not to mention half my door is just window-- no frame around the perimeter). The point is, they could have just pulled the plug on the whole operation then. Jose is already just covering his technician, they're still booked for the rest of the day even though I made the appointment same-day & they fit me in (another perk). But instead of aborting, Jose insisted they complete the job (I could tell his technician was tired & probably wanted to move on). They chose to drive all the way from Buena Vista to Ft Lauderdale for the other window then come back to my place to replace it. No extra charge. Even though the job went from taking 40 minutes to 3 hrs for them w/the unnecessary traveling & gas expense. Overall Jose is a man of his word with great integrity & values as a business owner. Also, his technician used to work for SafeLight so you still get a highly trained & knowledgable person installing your window. Jose was reliable, easy to communicate with, reasonably priced (I paid $185), punctual, & above all provided stellar service which is highly unnecessary for a business where you most likely won't see your customers again. I salute & praise him & I hope this review brings him many clients & makes their glass repair experience hassle-free too. Thank you Jose! :)

I called and got the ok to have it dropped off at the 988 garage. John was the "Service Professional" that would be doing this work. I called and he quoted me $80-100 to replace the coil and spark plug and an oil change. I thought it was a reasonable rate and I agreed. He said he would do that but no work could be done today bc he's been drinking. I said (my car was already there) "Next week is fine." He texted and Re-quoted me "$160. And there's an oil leak. Is that ok? It's too much work to fix the oil leak, I don't want to do it but will try to patch it Oil Change and replace coil. for $160". "Fine". Long story longer, he texted me Monday to let me know it's ready, I scheduled to pick it up within the hour. I was there in 30 minutes. He wasn't. I texted, I'm outside. Called, nothing. 15 minutes later I left. Three hours later he texted back. I'm on the other side. Annoyed. Finally, two days later, I get there, pay him, "Thank you!" he hands me my keys and goes inside. I start my car and it seemed to be misfiring same as when I dropped it off. Also the 60% oil light was illuminated but the engine light was not. It was at 60% when I dropped it off. So no oil change was done. My ride left and It seemed ok to drive so I left. At this point, I was spending a lot of money, the car was older and I was overdue for a new car. I needed to trade it in. It's fixed (I thought) bc the engine computer light was off. So when I took it to get assessed, the guy asked if I had work done recently. "Yes I just picked it up. I had the coil changed and an oil change, within the past two months the list goes on." He said "No, it needs to be changed, it's misfiring and my diagnostic machine showed that all was done was the computer was cleared out but it's showing other work that was done prior and the dates of everything." I contacted John and asked what I was charged for?? The coil was not replaced nor was the spark plugs and all he said was "Dealer games, they're lying". Um, yeah..What are the odds I can get my, *$160 in cash only with no receipt* back?

He has done this several times. Telling me dont waste your time getting this done, or wait for this or that ( even if he could of made more money ), you dont need to do all of that now. Never had an issue. Very stand up mechanic and knows what hes doing. Highly Recommended.

What I appreciated is that my contact (José) always answered the phone and gave me a detailed update every time I called. He went out of his way to source the back ordered part from a dealer in Sawgrass and chase the other dealers for the right parts. A lot of places in Miami would just ignore you if things were delayed, and I'm sure it would have taken twice as long without him pushing things along.

I wish I could comment as to their work but after keeping my car the entire day, their doubling the written estimate caused me to have to go pick it up and go elsewhere.
