This time when in need, they stepped up and was there for me. Online quote was easy and simple. Be sure to have your cars VIN # for the quote to be as accurate as possible. I shopped around with other glass vendors and not one best Safelite's quote. Appointment was easy to make after the quote and the service tech was communicative and very professional. I chose the mobile service and the glass replacement was done right in my driveway. The technician was on time, friendly, professional, organized and clean. He completed both appointments on my 2 cars in a timely manner. Super organized and cleaned up nicely and provided quality parts and service. Great price compared to other quotes and coupons available but you just have to find them. Only fee you'll see that was questionable was the glass recycling fee of $39.99 which is bogus in my opinion. I called to try to get it waived but they offered a discount so definitely worth a try to call for a better price reduction.

Technician was supposed to arrive between 8 and 12 and he arrived at 12:10, with an attitude. The repair time was supposed to be between an hour and two and he took 2.5 hours and at the end he didn't even complete the service!!!!! They said that they needed to calibrate it and they couldn't and then they wanted me to go to their location which is 35 min away from where I live to then wait for hours because they said they needed at least an hour to see if they can calibrate it. I said beforehand that I needed that to be quick because the only time I had was during my lunch break and there were like 6 people waiting and said it will take hours. WHY ADVERTISE AS A SERVICE THAT GOES TO YOU TO THEN MAKE YOU GO ALL THEY WAY TO THEM AND WAIT FOR HOURS???? AND after all, when I'm there, they say that if I don't do the calibration there, they just don't care because they make you sign a waiver before the do some work in your car. If you're looking for windshield replacement I recommend you finding a company that is near you in case "calibration" cannot be completed. We had previously received a quote from Safelite and Global's price was almost half! They literally came the morning after Christmas exactly at the time given and were super professional. To complete the work they had a technician that came to install the windshield and another who came to complete the calibration. The technician that completed the calibration took the time to go through the history of codes in the vehicles system and then sent me a copy of the successful calibration for my records. I can't imagine this could have been any more perfect!

After he did that my car's battery began to die every couple months bc now the defroster line was showing as open and on and the batteries had to be replaced bc they were so dead they wouldnt hold a charge.
