I picked this shop through GEICO Claims Express. My Mustang looks like new after they fixed it. Ford dealers sent the wrong parts several times and failed to inform the shop one part was on back order, so it took a few days longer to get the car than I expected. What I appreciated is that my contact (José) always answered the phone and gave me a detailed update every time I called. He went out of his way to source the back ordered part from a dealer in Sawgrass and chase the other dealers for the right parts. A lot of places in Miami would just ignore you if things were delayed, and I'm sure it would have taken twice as long without him pushing things along. read more

Won't get into too much detail but my written quote was adjusted twice, almost doubling the original quote. I originally chose them because it had been recommended by a dear friend and frankly the place was spacious and clean. I was NOT banking on the price being doubled after they advised me they couldn't repair my door and needed to replace it. Chino's Ink on Bird Rd not only fixed the door and the other minor scratches but at a slightly better price. I wish I could comment as to their work but after keeping my car the entire day, their doubling the written estimate caused me to have to go pick it up and go elsewhere. read more

The process from my insurance to the assigned body shop was flawless and quick. While at the body repair shop, I could understand why being treated as a number from the numerous amounts of vehicles they have encompassing their body shop and into the BJ's Wholesale parking lot. When I received a phone call to tell me that my car was ready for pick up, I was excited and happy. So as I arrived to the body shop, they THEN tell me that the car is partially ready and a part for the vehicle was in transit. I had mentioned that once it has arrived, could someone from the body shop come to my office and place the part into the car? The owner of the body shop, whom I never met communicated and agreed to that. Three weeks later, I have yet to hear back from anyone from the body shop and nothing from the owner. I have called and I get a response stating that the part has not arrived yet. Granted, my car is an European vehicle but I am confident that the part isn't coming from the Old Country. Nonetheless, I am thinking perhaps they are overwhelmed with so many vehicles to fix and patch up, I am just one customer of 1% of their concerned business, incomplete insurance report that doesn't matter, since the insurance already paid them in full for 95% work completed. Can't compete against the odds, when they are a registered body shop from GEICO and GEICO will not intercede to make amends or appease me to my satisfaction. Lesson learned: Go to another registered body shop that is not owned by the same as H & M AUTO BODY REPAIRS. March 6th, 2019: No phone call, no email, no responses from the body shop telling me my part is available for my car and they can install it to my vehicle. After the issue I had with this auto body repair shop, I had to get rid of my car since the part never was installed. I even went to buy a different car. Best solution, they are not the solution. There are MANY auto body repair shops that will repair your vehicle COMPLETELY and not treat you like a number. April 11th, 2019: Shhh..."listen"... it's so quiet. Even after a terrible review, they never responded at all to apologize or to let me know that the part for my vehicle arrived. No call or contact, whatsoever. Be forewarned - there are better auto body shops that will think of you as a customer, instead of a number. read more

My review is for my experience through Geico's Xpress Claims. I cannot review on pricing as my job was paid through the-car-that-crashed-me's insurance. My car had a completely damaged bumper (replaced, not repaired), a bent axle, damaged taillight, damaged ESC, damaged parking assistance and scratches on the paint on the main body. Everything looks great now and it only took them about 5 days. Actually, my car looks better now than it did before (given that I hadn't washed the poor thing in months and they returned it nice and polished). The body work was good, but what stood out was how pleasant and professional everyone was. From the front desk, to who I think was the manager/owner, to the mechanics themselves. Everyone had a great attitude and was patient enough to explain any questions I had. If I ever need any big work done again, I will be sure to get a quote from them! Definitely recommend. read more

This is the most unprofessional auto body repair shop I have ever been in my life. You try to call them and they redirect to a mail box that is full so you can not leave a message. I went personally to show the damage of my car early on 03/21/2022 March by Wednesday, 3 days later I did not have a simple estimate than in any other please take no more than 10 minutes, even more I call everyday to see if my estimate was ready. The rudeness of Eddie, the salesman is beyond believe, he never even get out from his desk to explain the incredible delayed in a simple estimate and he talked to me with earbuds plug in. If you want to have a bad day and get furious go there, they do an excellent job on that front. read more

Brought my car to H & M Auto Body Repairs as referred by GEICO. It was my first time there, but Wow!, what an excellent customer service experience. Andrew started the process to bring my car in and I was out of there in 20 minutes!! They even had their Enterprise rental car representative there to assist me if I wanted or needed to rent a car during the repair process. What was most important to me was Andrew's willingness and ability to answer all my questions. When I got there, staff even took me to the car and showed me all the work that had been completed!! Very BAD experience! The paint is not even close to a match, this is on a brand new 2016 vehicle. They ruined my car, the front bumper does not align, the head lights are out of alignment as well. When you show Mike the horrible job his Piece workers did, he has a bunch of EXCUSES! Take your car to the original dealer and you will have better protection and quality of work. Scammers!!!! I had gotten into a really bad accident the week I went to go take my car to a body shop to get estimates and repairs. My insurance agent set me up with this one, since I had never been in an accident I researched the body shop. It had good reviews. So I left my car there on a Monday, and they gave me a rental til they could figure out if the car was repairable. So I got a call that same day after they inspected it and they had told me that the demages were not repairable, but the rental they gave me they would extend it towards the end of the week, being Friday. So I went in early Friday morning to turn in the rental and pick up my belongings, and when I got to the body shop, they told me they had taken my car to a junk yard! In Opa Locka! WITHOUT ANY NOTIFYING NO PHONE CALL NOTHING! Mind you the junkyard they took my car to had already dismantled most of the car and stuck the front bumper in the back seat and all of the dismantled pieces from the front and back of my along with all of my belongings in my trunk. This has been the worst experience I have ever had, being this is the first time I had ever been to a body shop, but I know for any future repairs I will not be coming here! Someone stole from my vehicle. I went 30 miles out of my way to go to this shop based on reviews and recommendations. To be disappointed twice, to find out car was to be written off and to latter realize the theft. After collecting my belongings the next day I realized that a pair or ray bans are missing from my car when I asked the Geico adjuster about it, he said he would ask around. But as expected nothing came of this inquiry. The claim process was fine after being told my vehicle was to written off and was given a payment for it very quickly. read more

Not happy at all. They made it seem like they were on top of everything, the service and updates on where my car was in the process was great, but then when I picked my car up it was a disaster. My car is not driveable, they put tire on wrong so now my break pad is worn down. On top of that, my accident was claimed through insurance but they didn't replace the front bumper like they should have they just repaired it poorly and it's noticeable. The head lamp wasn't changed correctly, it has water inside. Not happy. read more

Their body work and paint is spot on, im super picky but they managed to color match it without even blending. no orange peel or anything. flawless. I had my 2004 Toyota Camry repaired after minor front end damage; they made the process very quick and efficient. The repairs were completed in 7 days and now the front end looks brand new, I wish the rest of the car looked as good. The staff were very nice and informative. I am impressed that they treated my older mom car as well as a high end Mercedes. And bonus it was detailed beautifully it hasn't been that clean since... Well, ever since I have owned it. We all know the real reason auto body shops get poor reviews has nothing to do with the technicians' skill or ability to fix your car. It's due to service issues. All things being equal and assuming the obvious: H&M Auto Body will do a tremendous job fixing your vehicle and making sure that you are getting the right price and the right work done. Period. What makes H&M superlative is their service. I have never - IN MY LIFE (and I'm a terrible driver so I've had my fair share) - dealt with a body shop that consistently: 1. proactively called me with updates .... multiple times, 2. went out of their way to consider my time and the general inconvenience/crankiness resulting from any repair work, and 3. hires consistently friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating staff. I walked in and people were actually ... wait for it ... smiling. H&M should change its name to E&K for empathy and kindness because that's the bottom line. read more
