I want to qualify that I have used Glass Tint for years. They are locally owned and operated is one of the main reasons I use them. They have done work on all my trucks and cars. I have always been pleased with their service. My wife and I were driving to the paint store Saturday morning while it was pouring rain. We went through a puddle and it tore my wife's undercover. It was dragging and I did not know what to do. I realized we were just a few blocks from Glass Tint. They were open and immediately took the car in for service. I had my car back in five minutes with the problem resolved. I asked how much do I owe you and the manager said there would be no charge. How often does that happen in today's world. The guys there are great, they acknowledge you when you walk in the door. They all seem to know what they are doing. We have been there probably 5 times I have never had to wait more than a hour. I have had the windows tinted on the last 3 cars I've owned, never had any issues. read more

Great tint work but customer service is horrible. Was quoted $250 for the front two door windows and brow for the front windshield with ceramic to be done over the phone and after the work is done, the bill jumped to $320. The manager was very rude and we even had the conversation before the work started and he said he' would honor the $250. Then he started yelling at me after I had already paid and walked out to check the work when I came back in to tell them they did a good job on the tint. Saying I was "stealing from his company" and obviously having a huge attitude problem. This is no way to treat your customers. I simply stated that he needed to calm down and watch his attitude until he pushed me to yell back. I left and will not be back. Highly do not recommend a business that quotes one thing over the phone, then charges more when you get there and yells at their customers when they were trying to give them praise on the work while walking out the door. read more

These people are crooks. DO NOT TAKE your vehicle to them for tinting. I was quoted a price for removal of old tint and to re-tint. After driving 60 miles to get there, was told the price was double. Needless to say, I left there without them touching my vehicle and drove the 60 miles back home. I will NEVER do business with them again. I brought my truck into glass tint Etc to have a bumper put in and a few off-road lights that I had brought from home. I didn't think much about it because I did have good service from them in the past. A few years ago I had another truck of mine decked out with a lot of lights and a few accessories and in so doing they probed one of my electrical wires that knocked out some of my electrical components in my truck. They took good care of me and paid to have all of it taken care of through the manufacturer because they had to take out my seat my door panels and head units to make sure it wasn't manufacturer defect. Well they did find where in fact one of the employees probed a wire to knock out my electrical systems in my truck they did take good care of me and paid for all of the labor and replacing what they had destroyed. Now that was a few years ago and they treated me very well and I had no complaints. Now going on to today I am bringing another vehicle by to have some more customization done and at first all was good and where I dropped off my truck to the shop. About 2 hours later I get a call from glass tint Etc and I'm told to come by only to have one of the employees I believe his name is Kenny, with a horrible attitude accusing me of bashing them online saying I have given them bad reviews on Google and Yahoo which I have never done I don't even use Yahoo. This guy had a horrible attitude almost want to fight me. Let me back up just a little bit more now whenever I dropped off my truck I dropped it off and this was the same guy that took my truck in. I had a appointment, then I brought my truck to glass tint Etc and from the very beginning he was just very rude very irritated by the fact that I had brought a few lights and accessories from home instead of them being perfectly packaged. Now I understand being a little upset that you got to do a little more work or whatever but I am getting charged by the hour for their labor which they are getting paid to do. Now Kenny this employee which I believe is the manager, after I went in to have my truck brought into the shop to get its work done, directed me outside to the truck with a mechanic to show him what I wanted done. Now this mechanic that I was showing what I wanted done to my truck was wonderful with absolutely no complaints. I really wish I would have gotten his name he was as nice as could be he wanted to know exactly what I wanted he me and him kept in contact with what I want to do with my truck a bit and it was just a wonderful experience with him but anytime I had to do with Kenny was nothing but a hassle and him being rude. It really upsets me the fact that I am going to spend my money over there and it's he acts as if he doesn't want it. The big deal is Kenny straight up accused me of bashing them online and telling me about how much they're not going to warranty my vehicle and were just so rude it is unbelievable I am not going to be responsible for something I did not do. I even begged him to look online in to find where I had posted bad reviews or any such thing in the past and he could not do it and still cannot prove to me that I did do it and I never have and I will not take the responsibility for something I will not do and will not be accused by an employee in such a rude and condescending way. From the very beginning whenever I drop off this vehicle he has been nothing but rude to me and that is not how you treat a paying customer who is giving hundreds if not thousands of dollars of money. This is my review of glass tint Etc and I am being 100% honest here. I do have to admit that they have done good work in the past and several years ago whenever they destroyed my vehicle they paid to have it fixed from that point on I thought I was going to be a lifelong follower of glass tint Etc, until I brought my new vehicle to them only to be confronted and bashed and humiliated about the fact that they had to fix their own vehicle that they destroyed and then accuse me of giving them bad reviews online whenever I never did such a thing. I really liked them before this employee accused me with no proof. Too bad. Look out for Kenny if you do go to have work done... He has no customer compassion! read more

Start off by say that the store is very clean and the display are excellent! The staff here are very professional and they know what they are talking about! Talk about customer service and accommodating the customer!!!! Wife and I just had tint installed on our a new vehicle. From the very beginning the folks at glass tint etc were helpful with estimating quotes, knowledge of available products, technical understanding, and setting up appointments that fit our schedules. With very lImited choices in alexandria to take your vehicle for tint services you would think there would be no need for above and beyond customer service but these folks truly are something special. Can you give less than one star? After taking almost 3 months to complete a basic stock-part job, I was then overcharged about 30% more than their original quote for what ended up being less work. Glass Tint, Etc will give you the run around and not stick to their word read more

In the beginning of February I took my Jeep here to get a hitch put on. Paid $255 for everything. My friend just got another Jeep and she needed a hitch put on hers so I recommended she take it to Glass Tint. She called in advance and was quoted the same price as I paid and then had the work done today. When she paid for the work they charged her $305 FOR THE EXACT SAME WORK!!!! When she came back to work she told me what she paid so I went up there to talk to them about it. When I told the guy behind the counter what was going on he looked up my account and then got this stupid fake ass look on his face and said that I had gotten a deal. I asked him why I got a deal and he couldn't answer the question but said that I had been under charged for the hitch and that he had only made $20 off me. If I could rate a 0 I would be way happier than I am now...I've done business with them a few times...and this one was the worse yet.. i had a Hood scoop installed on my car...which they try to give the car back with it not put on straight and blamed it on the company that i bought it from,that they made it a eighth of inch to short..so they went back and straightened it.... .then I get home and realize my hood insulation was off they didn't put it back on... So I called back and had to go back over there so they can put it back on..i know people make mistakes and it really wasn't a big deal and im usually calm and keep to myself but the way they handled the situation set me off.especially when I paid my hard earned money. I want the job done right....long story short bad customer service in my opinion I can go further in details but I'm not... I normally dont write reviews but I couldn't pass this one up..
