Around since 1977, HP Tops is your town t-shirt printing shop that has a space packed with garments and clothing blanks for all your printing needs...whether a Bar/Bat Mitzvah giveaway, a customized gift, or shirt for camp, this is your one stop shop. We needed a special shirt made, a simple black t-shirt with some lettering on it. We walked in, told the owner what we wanted, he arranged the letters perfectly on the heat press, and did the shirt on the spot in less than 15 minutes. All in all the total came to $21. Shirt cost + $.50 per letter. They have an online ordering system, but we were told it's better to come in to make sure it turns out okay. I personally suggest going in, because the customer service is off-the-charts fantastic, and the shop is a fun visit...even if you just want to browse and drum up a conversation. That piece made me consider using them for my own printing--but unfortunately, my personal experience with the business has been frustrating from the start. I contacted High-Five on May 27, 2025, to inquire about getting some items printed. I uploaded my design and dropped off my clothing on May 29. From that point forward, it was a mess. Every time I called to check in, the person on the phone seemed completely confused about what I had dropped off. That alone made me nervous about whether my items would be printed correctly--or even returned at all. The owner told me, "It'll be ready by the end of next week." Two weeks passed--same response. A month later--still no update or progress. Finally, I called again today (July 29) and was told that the items still hadn't been printed, though suddenly they could be done by tomorrow. When I said I just wanted my clothing back since it had now been two full months, the owner argued with me and said, "It hasn't been two months." Honestly, that was the most frustrating part. A simple apology would've gone a long way. Instead, I was met with defensiveness. Also worth noting: the shop itself feels like a disorganized nightmare when you walk in, which matches the experience I had dealing with them. I had email receipts and documented dates and times for when I dropped everything off and followed up, so the timeline was never in question. I just picked up my items today, and thankfully, everything was accounted for. But I won't be coming back.

I gave him two projects and after a month with no feedback I stopped in to see where we were with the projects. I was told they would be done soon. another month went by and still no progress so I stopped in again and heard, "Soon." I retrieved my thumb drive after they downloaded it onto their computer and waited another few weeks before giving up and finding another shop. If you're no longer interested in my business, don't string me along with false promises.

Was told to leave the plate, go online to find something that looked good to me, and email them pics of the font I liked. Did just that. No response. Waited a few days over a weekend and emailed again to see if they had received the pics I sent. Received a snarky and condescending reply that what I had sent was actually an image file and not the .otf or .ttf file they needed. Stopped by the shop a couple days later to pick up my plate. Was greeted by the person who had told me to "just send us a picture of something you like" and tried to express my disappointment with the reply I had received. I didn't get half a sentence out before he just tossed the plate on the counter, said "well we can't help you," and walked out leaving me there by myself. I guarantee you can find better customer service anywhere else.
