I had leaves in my gutters and moss on my roof, and thanks to his fantastic work and pleasant demeanor, he is now my "go-to guy" for this and any other tasks I can come up with for the future. It was also a safe experience, Tim stopped by to view the house, called us before he arrived, and then texted us when he left, sending an email quote shortly after. The day of, he called and let us know he was there, and then performed the work and spoke with my wife outside afterwards while distanced and wearing a mask. What Happened, I used them twice and just recently moved to a new home I called to make an appt. she called me back and I thought we had an agreement to come out the next day around 1;oo pm so I rushed home got there and waited 1 hr They never showed up So I called to tell her I wasn't waiting anymore and would like to reschedule for Fri. She doesn't answer her phone so left a message That I wanted Friday so she called back and said I was on the shedual so I was waiting and nothing Someone did call later in the day said they were out far and it would be hard to do it today so I said I would like to reschedule the to get a date and a time they never called me back WTF I will give this company a zero. read more

So this is the second time I've used Gleaming the View. The first time was in 2014 and they cleaned our gutters and treated the moss on our roof. They did an OK job on the gutters and roof, but left a mess behind from all the debris. It cost about $300. This year I found a deal/promotion on a recommendation website for $149 for gutter cleaning so I bought the deal. The person doing the scheduling was a little pushy at first. The terms and conditions said I could buy the service and book for a future date (within a year) but I almost immediately received an email that they had selected the date. I declined and said I would get back to them. But that wasn't a big deal. I scheduled for Tuesday (5/12) so I could ensure that my husband was home and we didn't have other things going on. But on Monday (5/11) I was in the living room, knock on my door, and it's the guy who's going to clean my gutters. He was a shoe day early! No one called to let me know. Fortunately my husband was home for a few minutes and dealt with the guy. He cleaned the gutters but his clean-up was horrible. First of all, I know the gutter cleaners drop all the gutter crap on the ground, but it still has to be cleaned up. You can't just blow that crap in to my bushes, etc. with a leaf blower. He used our tree trimmings bin for bulky stuff he collected in the drive way, which was fine. But when I went out and looked in my newly planted flower boxes, they were no longer filled with pristine potting dirt; there was a ton of gutter crap and needles in the pots! Thanks for nothing, dude! Now I have to redo the pots and get the crap out of them, which he should have done. I guess that's what I get for $149. I would hire them back but I'll be hiding all my flower pot and supervising the clean-up more closely. read more

Like many others here, we had previously used this company with success. However, we tried using them again recently (albeit without checking Yelp) and the experience was awful. I'll save all the details, but the company is technically closed ( no confirmed address, website down, no insurance, etc.) but someone still identifies as them, eventually returned our calls, arranged an appointment and attempted to perform work on our home. After significant issues, we were able to confirm it was no longer the same people / company and we had them escorted off the properly. I just used this service today for gutter cleaning, I belive his name is Tim, he came over second time (saw house before), told me one price over the phone. After work was done he asked almost twice more. I offered him cash amount (what he was asking before), because I didn't have more with me and he denied to take it unless its more. He said that will come back and breake or clog my gutters, so I'll finally pay bigger amount of money. Had very aggressive and disrespectful attitude. I was crying after he left. Now I'm concerned about my safety and my house. What is going on with people out here? read more

Gleaming the view were scheduled to come and clean my windows last Weds 9th May, I took a half day off work to wait for them....I'm still waiting!!!! After calling them 5 times and leaving 4 messages, to try and find out why they no-showed, I gave up! I still havent had a response from them. read more

Last time I used them (2017 or 18) for window and gutter cleaning, everything went well (rating of 4 for that service). Now I wonder what's happened. Their website doesn't seem to exist and they haven't returned two calls after several days. read more

We had such a fabulous experience again! Not only did Donovan call and keep me updated about when he planned to arrive to set up our lights, but he also worked hard, at my request, to add lights to our tree out front. Our house and tree gleamed, just like the name! As promised, the lights were taken down today (just a few days after New Year's). Each time I've called, the lady who answers the phone is incredibly warm and friendly, which spreads cheer even though the holidays are done. We have used this business for a couple of years to do our windows. Last year, they did fine, this year, they either missed three windows all together or did not do a very good job. I have left two messages and have not heard back from them. I am doubting I will at this time but will not ever use their services nor recommend them to any of our neighbors. read more

They cleaned my roof and gutters and did a moss treatment last year for under $250. The moss stayed away for the year but as my neighboor has huge trees he never trims I need the roof cleaned again, they are doing the gutters too and the outside of the windows for under $375. They are quick professional and on time. I'm very happy with the service. read more

I have used Gleaming the View for several years to clean my gutters. Their service and responsiveness has been hit or miss. On two occasions the cleaner arrived only to tell me that he needed more money to do the job. I had an appointment with them today to again clean my gutters, the date was chosen by them. After two phone calls, which went un returned by them, they were complete no shows. Their phone is always answered by a voice message, even though the message states that their normal office hours are M-F, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Last year, after cleaning my gutters the owner/manager offered to give me a proposal for a reduced price, for a commitment to clean my gutters twice a year, a proposal I was very interested in. I have never had received an offer. I am now in search for a new, reliable company. read more

Was given Gleaming the View's name from someone and could not be happier with their work. They came out and left a quote the day after I called. We needed the work done by a certain date and they were able to accommodate. When they came out to do the work, they were totally on time and very nice. They worked efficiently and effectively and made our dirty windows sparkle. And, what is always important to us, they were very pet friendly and closed doors (so cats didn't escape) and were kind to our dogs. Finally, and I can't say that all their employees do this, but the guy who did our windows used an e-friendly soap on the windows. YEAH! Our windows and screens look terrific and the view from inside our home just got 100% better. read more

My mother is a senior citizen and a widow who has used Gleaming the View in the past to hang her Christmas lights and clean her gutters. They know to put her on the schedule every year. They called and told her they would be late, then never bothered to show up or contact her again. I am disgusted that they would treat a loyal customer who depends on their service this way. We used this company about 2-3 years ago and they did a good job. The guy who power washed was very nice, but he took several chunks out of the sidewalk. I know this is a possibility with pressure washing though. He also left a lot of dirt splashed up on the house I had to clean off, but overall good experience. I called again and every time I called no one ever answered the phone so I had to keep leaving messages. The office lady (Tammy) is very nice and I eventually got a spot. Today the guy was supposed to show up at 9am and he called and said be there in half hour, but didn't show up until 10:30. Then when he gets here he tells me the office was crazy to bid my job at $300 and it will be more money!! I had asked Tammy on the phone beforehand. He acted like it was such an inconvenience and big job. He called the office and I got the feeling he just didn't want to do it so I told him we would handle it and he left. This is the second time I have used Gleaming The View to clean our exterior windows. Last week I called them in the latter part of the week and left a message on their recorder and I was promptly called back the same day. We were able to set an appointment for the following Tuesday. I chose them again because the last job was excellent and the pricing was very fair. This time was another very pleasant experience. Windows sparkle and the gentleman who did the work also wiped down both sides of the screens before installing them back on the window frame after the spectacular cleaning job. I have used many different window cleaning companies over the years in various houses and these people are by far the best that I have ever experienced. Very professional, quick and friendly. You can't go wrong with these people. Highly recommended. I will never call anyone else to do my window cleaning. Gleaming The View is the right choice. read more

I do not recommend this company. Their prices are way too high, they don't stick to their estimate, or keep their appointment to clean windows. The owner Tim had come out ahead of time to give me a written estimate. I used them for outside only at the estimated price and was very happy. Then lined them up again for inside/outside at the agreed upon price. The employee came out to clean as scheduled, but all by himself instead of the 2-man crew that had been promised. He left saying it was too much for him to do alone, and that the price should be over 60% more than the estimate ($580 instead of $360), based on the number of windows we had. Why didn't he say that the first time he cleaned? Why wasn't the owner's estimate valid? I had the same number of windows as before. Instead of being mortified and trying to make it right, they said they could come out a couple weeks later but only for that higher price. I was stuck with piles of screens I had already removed, and dirty windows the day before an important event. Unbelievable!! :-( read more

I have used this company for years to hang my xmas lights and wash my windows. Last year there were some issues with scheduling, but I assumed it was a one time issue. This year I called them in Oct to get on the schedule for a mid Nov xmas light installation. The day came and they just didn't show up...this is after I confirmed they were coming a couple days prior (Oh yes, they would be there). They apologized profusely and stated that the company was going through a "restructuring" and they would get me on the books ASAP. So, I rescheduled for Dec. 1. Well, guess what? They didn't show up again and yes, I confirmed they were coming the day prior. The craziest thing is on the day they were supposed to install my xmas lights I received an email stating that Tim had stopped by my house earlier in the week. They quoted me a price and asked if I wanted to schedule the following week for xmas light install. They ended the email with "Please let me know and hopefully we can get those lights up for you." What??? I've scheduled twice and you didn't show up! Any "hopefully?" Either you can or you can't! I replied to the email and called them and have not heard back. This company used to be my go to, but now I can't trust that they will show up. read more

This is the second year we have tried using Gleaming the View and the second year they have been a disappointment. Last year, we scheduled our Christmas lights install and they just didn't show. We couldn't reach them and it was terrible trying to reschedule. I wasted a lot of time on it. They did finally come to install them and did a good job at actually completing them. This year, same thing is happening. They haven't showed up and I can't reach them on the phone. I highly recommend Gleaming the View. Our home hadn't had any TLC in years. They washed windows, cleaned roof, emptied gutters and totally clean the fascias, power sprayed house and drive. I used this company for the second time this year. Last year, they did a good job and we hired them again. They came back out this year - scheduling, estimate, everything went well, they showed up and were very nice. The problem was that we left before they finished outside and therefore didn't inspect the entire job. When we came home, we realized that they had missed a couple of windows, one of which was extremely dirty. I called them immediately - however, no one ever answers the phone and it took multiple messages and over a week to finally get a call-back. She was very nice and promised me that she would get "her guy" to contact me and come back out. He never did. After several more - increasingly impatient - messages, I got another call-back with the same promises, but it's now been almost 2 months and my window is still dirty. Pretty sure it will stay this way until I pay someone else to clean it. I won't use Gleaming the View again. read more

Gleaming the View is an excellent company! The staff is hardworking, friendly and professional. We originally hired them to pressure wash our walkways. They did a great job and told us about some of their other services. So we had them come back and wash our windows, pressure wash our deck to prepare it for painting and fix some of our screens. They did a wonderful job. From Tami in the office, and Tim who did the evaluation and estimating and the staff that worked on our house everyone was professional warm and helpful. I have used Gleaming the View for several years to clean my windows They have done a great job each time. A few years back I used their rook cleaning services and was pleased as well. They are always on time and professional. I recently used them for both windows and roof cleaning and was pleased with the service. Quote for the roof cleaning and treatment seemed high but I knew they would do a good job and accepted the bid. They did not clean a small section of roof that is an overhang attached to the house. I called and brought it to their attention and was told they would look into it. A week later I have not heard from them. read more

The owner came out and gave me a written quote for cleaning our windows and repairing two screens in May 2014. When his employee came out in July 2014, he was claiming the windows on my nearly 20 year old house had construction debris and wanted to charge double. Having a written quote from the owner I decided I wasn't going to pay double. The job they did was okay, but not spectacular. The owner said he needed me to pay more to gwet them really clean. Next one of the screens that had to be repaired, he said needed to be rebuilt in his shop. It took them 5 trips to get one that actually fit the window. This was despite the owner having measured the window. I waited to review because I wanted to get my screen back, and I also wanted to cool off. To say the least, I would never consider these guys for any service of any kind. read more

Then, nothing; called office, left message two days later, nothing; called again and got someone in office saying cannot do estimate for another month or two because they are so busy -- ???? My neighbor was getting their windows cleaning so I asked the guys doing the job if he could do my after hers, he said probably, so I called their office and the lady said she would call me back, I never got a call back, so I called back and was told he would be able to clean my windows that day. I told the lady I was leaving for an hour and to call my cell if he was ready before I got back. When I got home I had a note with a quote at the door, no phone call, I called the lady at the office back she said oh he said he called which he didn't. So she proceeded to reschedule for 4 days out which I said ok, for Saturday. I get a call on Friday night be I guess the guy who is supposed to be doing the job saying he wanted to spend the day with his child and asking if he could do the job on Sunday, I explained to him that I go to church on Sundays, and that it wouldnt work, he said well ok I can still do it. To be honest at this point I felt the company was unprofessional, and really didnt care or need my business, so I said dont worry about it.. The guys then said well I dont want my boss to get mad at me, I said that is between you two. Bottom line is they will not ever get my business and further more they are a local company and I would not recommend them in any conversation. read more

I have no idea what this company's work is like - I wish I did. My real estate agent recommended this company to me for window cleaning. I called and called them, dozens of times. They literally do not ever answer their phone. Finally after a few days, I got a call back. I asked them to come out and give me an estimate and we agreed on a date. The woman on the phone said an estimator would be in touch with me to schedule a time. That never happened. On the day we had agreed upon, I called the office to try and find out when they would be coming out. Naturally no one answered. I left a message and did not receive a call back at all. It's really frustrating to not be able to speak to anyone. Playing phone tag (and mine was a very one-sided game of phone tag) is so inefficient. Also not everyone can answer the phone at all hours of the day, so it's nice when you can call a business and they actually answer. Maybe they do good work, but I will probably never know since I can't get a hold of them. Maybe they are really busy and don't have time for my business, but a simple phone call to tell me that would be nice. read more
