I've been going to this Cleaners ever since I moved to Glendora. This is a family-owned business (Mom, daughter and her son) are so nice and they know me on a first name basis which is a plus for every business rapport . I support small businesses in my Community and they definitely earned it. Although, a little positive reinforcement can go handy. My previous Cleaners based in Baldwin Park, had that really clean after laundry scent to my clothes and This could be something they could work on. They do great work! My dry cleaning always turns out pristine. The alterations I have had done for various family members are always high quality and even innovative. One of my daughters had a purchased a dress online that turned out to have a much lower v-neckline than she anticipated. We took it to Hilda and instead of putting some stitches she put a snap button so as to keep the integrity of the material but she took the time to explain and show us why. She fix the problem in an innovative way and the snap button was completely unnoticeable, yet strong enough to leave us worry free. Hilda is always wearing a smile and greets with a warm welcome. She shows that not just acquiring business is important but the actual customer matters to her. I highly recommend this business and especially the people. read more

Got an expensive dress altered here a while ago and they said they could do what I asked in the time allowed but when it came to the day, it was not ready but I made more time. And then when I went to try it on, it was absolutely butchered. I paid because I knew she tried really hard but she saw how disappointed I was and how I couldn't wear the dress and still made me pay full price for her to have just absolutely ruined my dress. Still have the dress in hopes that someone can fix her mistake but it really just makes me sad that I've never been able to wear it. read more

Neighborhood dry cleaners that we've been taking our clothes and linens to for years. Shop is run by two of the nicest Korean mom n pop that you will find anywhere... In addition to the the obvious dry cleaning services, we have also taken clothing with stains to them that normal laundering at home couldn't get out where they have a pretty good success rate. They have hemmed up my designer jeans, and have even breathed life into one of my distressed R&R jeans that was getting a little too distressed in the seat if you know what I mean. They were able to mend and reinforce the material expertly, to which I am very grateful as those jeans are one, broken in and two,one of my most comfortable ones, not to mention saving a $250 pair of jeans... They can handle special items too, as they have cleaned our curtains a while ago. I know for a fact that they can handle wedding gowns too as I see the fancy storage box on display when you walk in... I took my 3 baseball jersey's there to get cleaned and never had an issue with them. When I get home we're putting on the jersey's to go to the game and I noticed mine was damaged on the back numbers! The upper part of the number looked liked it got scraped off with a iron. Let alone I've only wore the jersey twice, smh. I returned the next day and confronted the owners about the damage, saying it was already like that when they received it. That's total B.S. There the only ones who have cleaned it, from the two time's I've worn it. If they did the damage they would've reported it to me they said which is another lie. They only refunded my cleaning fee. I had liked this place but after this incident I cannot return anymore and give someone money to damage more of my expensive baseball jersey's. NOTE, take pictures of your garments so this doesn't happen to you!!! Lesson learned and I will start taking pictures of proof so it doesn't happen to me again, showing it wasn't damaged when I dropped it off. read more

I really wanted to support these new owners. But I would be remiss if I did not warn potential Customers of my recent experience. I requested that several of my slacks be dry cleaned, and upon bringing them home, learned that they had been washed. Not only was the material damaged, but they also shrank. These were all of my work slacks and to replace them will cost $300. These are lovely people, but I would hate for this to happen to anyone else. read more

This was possibly the worst service I ever had. I came in on a Monday to get a dress hemmed that I desperately needed for a performance on that Wednesday. I asked the woman working if she could have it ready by Wednesday morning or earlier. She said she could have it done by 8:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. She said that although they open at 8:00 a.m. I could be there right away to pick up my dress and leave. Wednesday comes and I show up at 7:55 not expecting the place to be open. When I got there I was standing there for 45 minutes waiting until the woman showed up. No lights were on, the door was locked, and the open sign was shut off until 8:45 a.m. . I was sobbing because I would be late to my performance and not be able to perform. When she finally showed up 45 minutes later I was crying and asked her why she showed up so late. All she did was look at me and say $35. Horrible service, not reliable, and rude workers. read more

I have been going to Glen-Covina dry cleaners for over 15 years and Soon along with her husband have helped me with every need I have taken to them. I have my cloths dry cleaned, alterations, and when I got married I had my wedding dress preserved (which by the way is still in the box tightly sealed. 10 years later) They also have a bonus program, where you get a percentage of your cost of dry cleaning back toward your next dry cleaning job. I have never had a problem with them. I even sent my son, daughter and other family member to take drop off things in for me and they just give Soon or her husband my name and they know who I am. They once repaired my son's catcher's mitt after Chick's Sporting Goods closed and we could not find any place to have it repaired!! (and it's still going years later!) But my favorite is when my son informed us that less than an hour before gametime that his new baseball pants needed to be hemmed...They came thru bigtime!! Saving the day!
