We will be coming here at least twice a week, the price is really good, and very reasonable for us to be able to afford coming at least twice a week, so please don't change the prices because it's a huge factor! As far as the service goes they were super friendly, not good at speaking English (like at all) but luckily for us there was a Caucasian man there (who massaged me) that was a good translator and very pleasant. He had answered all and any questions I had about the business and how long they've been open(his name is Kevin). He let me know that they are OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK! Including holidays from 10:00 until 11:00pm!! That's HUGE for my family, made us very excited since its hard for us to find something to do in the evenings together. My husband ranted and raved about his massage with Mila, as I see the previous reviewer did as well! Stop Talking " I am not a ' loud ' person and I didn't notice that another ' Cu$tomer' was seated 15 ft away from me behind one of their Arabian Nights Veil 'curtains' Most professional massage clinics have seperate rooms not thin black veils as 'walls' I 'should have left at that moment, but as ' Meghan's already took my credit card number over the phone 2 hours before my appointment and not after it, and as Jackie is a kind caring person and lightened her massage when I said that my neck felt too much. That being said, don't let that put you off since you are left clothed (they still cover you up with a sheet). Furthermore, you can't see anyone else as you are lying face down on the massage table. Receiving a massage here is pretty fantastic. I've been to other massage clinics, and they don't do nearly as good a job as here. Having been here on several occasions over the years, I can safely say that they perform top notch massages. There has been many an occasion where I've come in with severe knots in my neck/shoulders from work or hockey, and each time I've felt relief after undergoing one of their shiatsu sessions. During each session (and you wouldn't think this to be the case) I tend to fall asleep, but there have also been moments of wincing pain where muscles have been really tight (but a good sort of pain, if that makes sense). Typically after a 40 minute session I am groggy and well relaxed. It just feels great. I brought my mother here who suffers from an extremely tense neck and shoulder muscles as a result of work-related injuries due to repetitive motions (she was skeptical about this place) and she is now hooked because they were able to really work out some of the tension in her muscles. Another plus is that the therapists really put effort into their craft and always act professionally. You can go at any time during the day and receive a massage and be well assured that it would be just as good if you were the first customer, or the last customer. This is quite a contrast to some other places I've been in terms of a consistently good massage. The only downside to Japan Shiatsu Clinic is that many medical plans do not seem to cover this type of massage. However, for my money, this place and the therapists that work here are top notch.
