The first time I ever had a foot massage experience - it was at this location (port moody). I used to live in the area and could walk here. The location itself is easily accessible by driving or transit which is wonderful. The interior is spacious and got enough spots for clients. The massages were great and really helpful. They provided me with a lot of relief which I loved. I've had a few family members also try out this location and enjoyed it. However, having said that, it just didn't have the complete 'spa' feeling to it - the aromatherapy, comfortable chairs, music, etc was great but there was alot of light coming through the windows which didn't make it very relaxing. read more

Another great experience with Big Feet in Port Moody, after booking the appointment and arriving on time, the room was ready and the receptionist was extremely helpful, Sue was the lady that gave me the deep tissue massage, it was so good I fell into a deep sleep. Ahhhhhh I am 2 days away from my due date and this was a MUCH-needed form of relaxation. Allen helped me out with the 50 min foot reflexology and ended the service with an amazing shoulder and back massage. He was friendly, kind, funny and caring. Who knew Big Feet can host large birthday parties? I ended up here because of a birthday invitation. We all ended up picking a 50 min feet reflexology. It was nice to socialize in a group setting. The store allowed the birthday party to set up a food table and watch the kids while people waited for their turns after. The massage itself was very relaxing. My feet was soaked in hot water before they were massaged. The massage ended with a hot towel clean up from the Vaseline the staff used during the massage. I think this is a great option for those who do not have benefits and want to enjoy an affordable massage. read more

This is NOT your traditional North American spa/salon massage. There are no good smelling oils, hot towels or relaxing beach music. It's loud and you will hear people chatting in the next room. But honestly? Who cares. It's $45 for 50 minutes of the best massage you'll ever get. I've spent years dropping $100+ on spa massages just to beg them to press harder. All the employees are great and well trained and will find all those knots and work them out. It hurts, but it's so good. Allen is your guy if you want someone who uses insane pressure. He'll work out everything and it might hurt, but you'll feel great after. Celine is also great and has great, firm pressure. The only place I'll be going to for massages from now on. read more

If you have never tried a deep tissue acupressure massage from Lily at Big Feet Port Moody then I suggest you try one. Of coarse go if your back or shoulders or legs are hurting however I totally recommend going once per month on a maintenance program. I always walk out of here relaxed. It can be a little loud sometimes depending which hour of the day you go. The masseuse told me things about my organs like my stomach while massaging my feet. Was a cool experience. I'm a regular here. They don't know to much English so when you book be specific of what you want. I usually get an hour of body and feet. The staff is very friendly and it is cheap, but the massage is not for me. I was looking for a more relaxing and gentle type of massage and ended up getting the completely opposite. I left the place sore and with a headache. The head rest in the table hurts your face and I could here the woman that was giving me a massage on her phone. It is not the most sophisticated place, which does not bother me. However, it can get quite loud since you can hear people from the other rooms. read more

I went in hearing great things about this place and asked for a female to massage me. I was given a male and it was the worst massage I have ever gotten. He did not touch my skin once. He massaged over a rough towel and used no technique, just rubbing. It hurt really bad. I called back to give feedback and all I received is 'well your massage is over so maybe next time'... DO NOT get a massage with the male therapist. I'd rather pay not to go to him! read more

I have been to the location on Hastings and Slocan and had such a good experience there that I decided to book with this location as it was closer for me. I booked in 1 week ahead for Valentine's day for 2 session of full body acupressure and foot reflexology. First off, the double room we were put in is right beside their staff room and the walls are either extremely thin or their laundry machine and air con system are really loud.. The two therapist we had kept talking for the entire session having a conversation about what day it was and what they would be cooking for dinner for Chinese new year etc. The conversation continued for the full 50 minutes. I would expect the atmosphere to be more relaxing. I understand that this was an Asian place and I didn't expect some kind of fancy spa, but the constant talking and sounds of machinery completely ruined the relaxation. My therapist had oiled up my entire back, arms and legs, and at the end of the session just walked out? Not even attempting to wipe off any of the oil. And then my boyfriend said he did not even get any oil, but we had booked for the exact same treatment. On to the foot reflexology session, we were lead out to the main area for that. Again, the conversation continued.. to top it off, all the staff were around the main desk which was right in front of where we were sitting, having conversation and laughing. By this point, we were so over our time here, the whole visit was not one bit relaxing. When the pressure was too hard and uncomfortable, we let out therapists know but after a couple minutes, they went back to the same pressure. The massage is mediocre at best and not the least bit relaxing at this location. Don't waste your time!! read more
