I stopped in to see what these guys had in the way of grills that could be mounted in an "outdoor kitchen"... Their products line is impressive. They have managed to sell a high grade grill line that competes well with grills costing twice their price. So, now I'm working on my wife to convince her that I "need" an outdoor kitchen built off the side of my deck. At least a nice grill and a spot to permanently mount my green egg, maybe a small fridge to keep something cold... maybe a small sink to wash something off before bringing it into the house... If you really want to impress the neighbors, they have a solid aluminum "egg style" cooker that looks like it should be mounted on the side of a Space-X rocket. I doubt that it cooks better than a normal Green Egg, but it has a wow-factor that is off the charts. I think I will stick with my current egg since I don't want the neighbors to feel bad about theirs. :-) read more

Great experience! They did a great job servicing our gas fireplace that hadn't been run in years. The service man took everything out, cleaned it and got it running again. We have an almost thirty year-old gas fireplace insert that wouldn't start. We called Glenco. They diagnosed the problem, obtained the parts quickly and finished the installation today. Please see the comments on other reviews about lack of communication. I met with a sales associate to review fire pits. I went home to figure out which pit was right for the space. I called Glenco and left a message with a clerk informing them that I was ready to buy. Left the model number of the pit I wished to purchase. Asked for the sales associate to call me. They probably have many sales larger than a $2500 fire pit, but you would still hope to get a return call so I could give them my money. No call. We had a true craftsman at our home today. Josh Nix technical expert from Glenco repaired our 23 year old gas fireplace and we will tell our forty four neighbors who have similar natural gas fireplaces that we strongly recommend Josh and Glenco for replacement or repair. Glenco Fireplace also sells gas grills and because of Josh we will replace our old grill asap with a new one from Glenco It's always a pleasure to recognize a great business with great people. read more

I bought a fireplace unit in 2013 and used it a couple of years before converting my home to natural gas. Two technicians recommended by Fort Hill Natural Gas attempted to change it from Propane to natural gas but it never worked properly. I called Glenco a couple of weeks ago and they gave me a quote for a service call and explained about parts, etc. I was not available last week so the technician came out this week and it is now working better than ever! He even discovered a gas leak that had been caused by one of the previous technicians who were both incompetent. I wish I had thought to call Glenco years ago. I am so pleased and plan to purchase a wall mounted fireplace from Glenco soon. They are awesome-prompt, efficient, knowledgeable, honest and fair. Can't do any better! Thank you read more

Communication was slow, but after I made my concerns Glenco has worked VERY hard to make things right and has quality products.

WOW! I am astounded by their product line,​ price, ​ and service.I like to wait to review a company ​because service is a huge component to whether I am REALLY happy with a product. I bought THREE different fireplaces from​ Glenco. I did tons of research, visited more than one place , ​and did lots more research. I needed two indoor and one outdoor fireplace with very different uses and heat requirements. Andy at Glenco was​ patient and unfailingly willing to get what I wanted. I LOVE the log sets I bought and the heat from the one on the outer screen porch makes sitting out there possible all year. AND THAT'S NOT THE BEST PART- How a company backs their product after the installation says a lot and I have been thrilled with Glenco's responsiveness. Andy, the point man for my purchase, just left from personally checking out a problem that had arisen. He showed me what to do and had everything up and running in no time.Here's the thing that speaks volumes-I had called in a couple of hours earlier and there was no technician available on short notice.Rather than leave it hanging, Andy who was in the area, called and checked on it himself. HOW OFTEN DOES SOMEONE DO THAT?Especially two years post-purchase​. I would recommend Glenco as a ten star if I could. Do not buy without checking them out.The price was excellent and the service post-purchase makes it a must use vendor. Terrible Customer Service. Told 2-3 week wait to be scheduled. Took over a month. When scheduler calls does not leave a message so you don't even know you were about to be scheduled. Once scheduled did not show up at time of appt. no call. I had to call at which I found out they would be 1 1/2 hrs late. Won't be using them again. read more
