We moved here a little over a year ago and within 2 months I had a crown break off. A friend recommended me to Dr. Fulton. They got me right in the next day although I did have to drive to the Scottsdale office. I don't have enough words to describe Dr Fulton in the manner she deserves. She is up on the latest dental procedures. She is caring...seriously, she is amazing! Her techniques as a dentist are top notch. My daughter just turned 20. Her teeth were in bad shape even though she has been going to a dentist since birth. My daughter was scared but ALL the people who work in the office have been amazing with her! And she loves Dr Fulton as well. She is now finishing up her treatment and has healthy teeth!! If we had not gone to Dr Fulton, she probably would have lost a majority of her teeth. I know...long story. But I wanted people to know that this office can help. They gave us references for dental insurance and discount plans. I believe they also have payment plans. They also take care of my Mom who is in the late stages of Alzheimers. Thank you to ALL the staff and to Dr Fulton! You all are great!! read more

Worst dentist in the entire state, avoid at ALL costs. Needed to get my wisdom teeth removed for almost a year now, requested to schedule and then they delayed it as they "had no record" and delayed it for FIVE MONTHS. Went in finally after five months for my schedule of which I confirmed and all of a sudden "oh looks like we should schedule you for that as your wisdom teeth are coming in" we have known that for a year now and that day was supposed to be my appointment but the care is immeasurable in the worst ways possible I would never go here in my life. read more

First staff attending to my son with special needs was patient and understanding. However billing for two different appts was a nightmare. First over charged $1300 for a procedure not completed. Lucky we caught it on our CC bill. Next time charged over $300 when we were told it was covered by insurance. Half of that was for behavior management (meds we administered and a papoose). That was the most expensive 20 minute appt we ever had. I called a couple of times and finally got to talk to the office manager who was not empathic to people with special needs. my Coordinator from DDD recommended so I made the appointment and I explained to the front desk girls my Son s condition, it looks like they understood, she actually said the Doctor Richard was so good with ED people, today I met the Doctor, and he never said Hi to me, he didn't ask my Son s situation, He didn't care to listen to me, I tried to explain to him Jim s history of aggression still he didn't paid attention then only he could see his tooth and he said " I can t take care of him because he is Overweight " "maybe if you make him to lose weight so he made a comment about his wife and how she want him to lose weight because she wants to BE ALIVE " and the way he said that I felt so offended ! assuming I don't want to see my Son alive.. I tried to be polite, because my Son was there, I finished my conversation, and my Son was so polite saying to everyone "Bye Take care". This Doctor ignores how is like to have a special young man, He should be grateful he got paid for them and been so disrespectful to me and my Son, I felt so discriminated and this Doctor is overweight !!!! He should live what he preach and keep his personal life private, that is not Professional, and after I called to confirm the new Doctor r address and someone hung up on me. My neice just had a visit at this office to get adjustment done to her new dentures and she was complaining that they was hurting her so bad she was in tears. My neice is special needs so she is very sensitive to what people say to her. So during this last visit the dentist said to here the he would rather shot him self in the head then talk to her any more about this. So come on why would you as a professional make such a comment? Anyway I called to file a complaint and found out that the office manager is the doctor's wife so nome the less I got nowhere there so thos prompted me to write this review in hopes that people will think twice before going to this office. Let me start by saying the hygienists are super friendly . the ladies at the front will tell you false information for billing . every visit I had (3) I was always told I owed more . my boyfriend had the same issues . I couldn't make an appointment due to not knowing the cost and the front desk was beyond rude when my insurance called and tried to help. I got charged a $50 no show fee when I couldn't afford to go. Also tried to pay my balance of 16.66 before paying the late fee. They charged my card unauthorized for the $50 late fee as well. I definitely do not reccomend this place . The new people they hire should be trained a bit better at what they do especially when working the front desk and charging people. I came to bring my daughter for work to be done the girl says its over $300, I advised her that's not correct and to check the paperwork again from my insurance, supposed to only pay around $150, she reprinted out and POOF all of a sudden I was correct. My advice to people is save your paperwork and make sure you always double check what you are charged. On a great note I must again say I've been coming here for over 19 years. Front desk staff are terrible, you'll wait for hours past your appointment without being acknowledged, Don't leave a message on their voicemail either they will not return your call.. I have an autistic nonverbal son they told me to not let eat for 8 hours before his procedure, we arrived 30 minutes before his appointment and waited hours after his scheduled appointment without any concern or compassion from the staff, nor did they communicate any reason for the delay, absolutely no empathy for the disabled. Finally the anesthesiologist did not know or understand her job, she told me that she lacked the proper tools and instruments and we were referred to another practice without any work performed on my son. If I use the word gross incompetence to describe this practice it would be a compliment. I wish I could give them negative stars, I would like to send them a bill for wasting my entire day with their nonsense, do not bring your special needs children here you will be sorry.. read more

I read about Ana's review and completely understand. It saddens that the response was a copy paste. Dr Richard Feldhake is the reason I am scared of Dentists. I had to see him from a young age to 17. I wonder if my insurance had to do with the way he treated me. I was on Ahcccs. He was cruel and extremely rough. When I had my lower wisdom teeth out he was digging so hard that my chin almost touched my chest. I have so much to say, but it makes me uncomfortable and sad to relieve these memories. I went there to see Dr Kimberly Fulton. Starred off bad because of her crappy assistant. She shoved the X-ray down my throat kept trying finally had to get help. Left there very sore in my mouth. Should have been a red flag. Then went back to get my cavity filled and the tongue retractor rubbed my gum to the bone. Again I blame Dr. Fulton's assistant. I broke out in blisters too. Watch out for that crappy assistant. I will never go back. Still have my temporary crown on but have found a new dentist with a very gentle assistant. read more

I have been coming here for years but I agree with another reviewer that the service has gone down greatly in last year. These new hires up front don't know what they are doing. Keep trying to charge for stuff already paid for and overcharge for other stuff. Accurate communication is at an all time low. It is taking me 3 visits for a root canal , filling and a crown. Not communicating to me what was done and what still had to be done ( but definitely charging for it). I think I've made my final visit and I won't be bringing my son here anymore either. read more

Dr.feldhake was the first dentist I can remember at about 10 or 12 years old. I was getting some root canals done. I was in pain and he told me to stop crying just because my "mommy" wasn't in the room and called me a cry baby. Traumatized me for years til I had work done by amazing dentists. Not to mention two of the root canals he did ended up having to be pulled because he went too deep and they got infected. He needs to retire. I'm surprised he hasn't been sued. read more

I've been seeing Dr Fulton here for a couple years and love this place. The office is modern and comfortable and the staff is great. The same staff is here for several years and you can tell they enjoy their jobs which is awesome! The first time I met Dr Fulton she sat with me for 20 minutes explaining how I could beat the genetics of my not so great teeth. I have referred many family members here and they are also pleased with the service. Also I don't have dental insurance and they have their own dental plan that is extremely reasonable and equivalent. Feldhake is the worst dentist ever, I lost one tooth as he ground down the tooth too low, the crown cracked and leached, he left part of the old filling , and the crown could not stay on...the pain was outrageous, the tooth had to be extracted it had rotted underneath!! The next tooth needed a root canal, he forgot one of the roots, made the crown too long, I am in agony, it all has too be redone, hec will cost you pain, and thousands of dollars. read more

Let me start by saying I absolutely love the two dentists and the hygienists. I have enjoyed all of the experiences I have had with them. They take great care and are very friendly. My biggest complaint is the last 3 or 4 times I've been to the office, there has been a tremendous delay. Last time, I think they actually forgot about me in the waiting room. The a couple times ago, I waited an hour before they told me the Dr. was in surgery and it's taking longer then expected and I had to reschedule. I go to the dentist during my lunch hour expecting it to be a little longer than my hour, but the waits and lack of communication and adhering to the schedule is extremely frustrating. I will give them another chance even though after a few strikes, they should be out. I love the people and I hope things will improve. read more

I am changing my review as my one prior was before the hassle, pain and lack of organization my son and I were put through. Appointment after appointment the wait to go back was almost unbarebale seeing how the attention span of a young boy is short and with the gaming system "they so call have" that's never on or working it makes it hard to have a 3+ hour dentist appointment. As the years went on I just kept dealing with this as this office was very close to home and his school I figured it was still worth it. The last 2 months with this place have been absolutely pathetic to put it best. When it came time for my sons routine cleaning a cavity was found which led them to require a filing. This filing was scheduled that day and we went on out the door. 3 weeks passed and I took my son out of school to get his filing done only to be called by the receptionist Andrea 5 minutes before the appointment while I was already pulling into the parking lot to inform me that she messed up and did not schedule the procedure correctly and had to reschedule. After being very upset that they waited till 5 minutes before and my son was already signed out of school I once again was stupid and rescheduled. In the mean time I was called twice to reschedule the same appointment and after believing today he would FINALLY have his filing they gave him to much Ativan and made him sick to his stomach with once again missing another day of school and no tooth repair and instead spent his whole day vomiting. I will never I REPEAT NEVER go back here or will I recommend it to anyone. EVER. read more

Dr. Feldhake and Dr. Fulton have both worked on my teeth. Feldhake for my wisdom teeth extraction and Fulton for routine check-up and fillings. They are exceptional dentist. Well I not only have bad teeth but I am scared to death of the dentist. I met Dr. Fulton at this practice and she couldn't have been more understanding and professional. She had to extract a tooth and give me an implant. I got through it with flying colors thanks to her and the gas she gave me. In all seriousness she did a great job, the staff is so helpful and friendly which makes the visits so much easier. Both of my adult sons have become patients as a result. read more

If I could give a no star I would. We were told ins would cover a procedure thinking they would verify then we receive a large bill. We tried to explain and were told to pay the bill or be sent to collections. We asked to make payments and were told to go get a bank loan. Very rude staff. Awesome for special needs patients. I would give a 10 stars if I could. Not only was everyone from Dr. Feldhake, Dr. Kahn, to all the assistants and receptionists welcoming, non-judgemental, and patient with my daughter, my questions, and concerns, but they were available off hours. Dr. Kahn called me on his time to discuss my worries of my daughter going under. He was so understanding and worked to make sure she had no problems coming out of anesthesia. Dr. Feldhake was amazing in caring for her and giving pre- and post- operative meds and care for the removal of my daughter's wisdom teeth that it has been the easiest dental procedure and recoup we have ever had, which includes UCSF Dental & Boston Children's. He called in the evening to make sure she was recovering and to see if I had any concerns.
