My promise land.
There is nothing that makes me more serene than the smell and sight of lavender sprigs. Since I was young the smell has always been my favorite so coming to this farm was a dream come true.
Set on a back country road past rolling pastures, ponds, and wild flowers this farm is nestled in to the landscape ready to give you a deep breath of calm.
The barn holds a heavy scent of lavender, smiling owner, and an abundance of goods to buy. Dried lavender, pillow sachets, oils, creams, lotions, soaps, teas, shirts, balms, sprays, laundry soap, and more. The room off the back is filled with long swags of dried lavender that gently sway in the breeze from the back door. I could have sat in there for days.
If you want to cut your own lavender the owner gives you instructions on where and how to cut.
I was so happy to walk out back and enter the several fields of lavender. Some up a meandering trail with a hammock and picnic table to relax at. Others are behind a greenhouse full of lavender and the sound of hundreds of bussing bees.
Soak in the breeze of lavender, the calming hum of bees, the gentle conversations of others taking in the sights and just take your time and enjoy. read more
