My littles would love coming here and love going on the trains or carousel or the picnics we would have when I was a sahm. So many nice comminuty events held here etc. The parks been through a lot of renovations. One section has really clean bathrooms and there's an exercise stations which is geared for most ages. There's a part here that will connect you to Brookside Gardens. The park is very well maintained.

We also rode the carousel which was fun. $4 a rider and adults have to pay to assist their little under the 42 inch height requirement. The train was the same, but it was closed for repair the day I was there. The biggest downfall was I could only find portapotties. However, this park was a lot of fun to visit for a day.

It was pretty quiet (just nannies and a few kids) until the private schools let out and kids in Gucci shoes followed by moms in neon colored Chanel boots showed up and it became quite crowded. We left not too long after this because a few of these unruly children who were not being watched by their moms repeatedly tried to bully my 2 year old out of the sand area. Before these children arrived, we had a great time with the various slides and toys left behind in the sand. There's lots of open space, tennis courts, and a separate section for older kids. Parking is on the street and highly coveted. I noticed many cars circling on our way out. It looks like there's a splash pad here as well. I might take my son back here but would definitely choose to come earlier than later.

The garden is surrounded by an imposing steel fence but the sign clearly notes that this is open to the public during daylight hours. Stone borders keep the dirt tidy for the trees and provide a shady spot to sit and enjoy the greenery. There's also a small playground area in the shade. Neat spot. It has been a long time, and I knew I was going to be rusty, so I got to the tennis court early and was going to practice hitting against the tennis wall (is there a name for it?)... Not every tennis court has one so I was happy to see it. But then I realized I had to use the bathroom. That turned into a 20 minute ordeal. I parked on the side of the park farthest away from the tennis courts, so walking around took a bit. I only counted three porter potties in the entire park, and one was locked. The other two were a good 5-minute walk away, actually right outside my car... And they were not kept up well. And the hand sanitizer/soap in mine was empty. During this time, my friend arrived, who also had to use the bathroom haha. When we finally return to the tennis courts, we actually didn't end up playing because he observed so many noticeable cracks and the sagging nets. We didn't think we would get a good game in, so we actually left. This park seems great for locals within walking distance and for their massive fields and just getting a nice stroll in. But I wouldn't come here for tennis. And make sure you use the bathroom before you go!

Located blocks away from the local Safeway grocery store, this local neighborhood park is a great place. We came here one weekend with our family and there is plenty of parking here. There is a large field where we saw teams playing sports outside. There is a long trail for those who like to ride their bikes and or jogging. If you walk through the paved trail, you will come to a fairly large playground. Actually, there are two playgrounds that are walking distance from each other. Literally a minute walk away from each other. One seems to be an older playground and it appears the other playground is more renovated. They have tons of options for younger and older children to play. A list of activities within the playground are swings, slides, rope climbing, fire trucks, motorcycles, swinging seats and electronic sound boards for children to press on. Please note that as of May 2022, it appears the electronic sound board with buttons is out of battery. So you wont hear any sounds from it. There are tons of trees in this park so you can find some relief for those hot sunny days. There are benches throughout the park so you can take a seat and people watch. There are multiple parking lots here so there will be plenty of parking. On days where there are social / sports events, parking might get filled up faster. However, we did not have any trouble finding parking. If you are in need of a park with lots of things to do, this place is a good option. It's not big like the Wheaton Region Park, but its a nice playground area. Nice trails and plenty of grassy areas to sit and relax. Good spot for yoga too if you need a nice and calm place to practice.

Less crowded but there were kids from locals and they looked like among 2-7 years old. The gyms were well designed for the purpose of safety but the ground was not covered by a mat so I was not comfortable to let the last baby walking. The gym was close by a parking and could get there by a stroller. A lot of tree made shadow so parents can sit down under shadows and be cool.

I love how slides are short so it's safe for the little ones to go by themselves. Part of the playground is covered in wood chips and the other part is made of soft rubber mat. The wood chips look very clean. The equipment here are also very clean and well-maintained. When we went to this playground, it didnt seem overly crowded as well so the little one had a blast. After familiarizing with the place, she had to courage to go explore the playground. She had a blast there. We will definitely be including this in our list of playgrounds to continually visit.
