This peppermint reminds me of Christmas. The healing blend body butter has a pleasant fragrance. I use it mostly during the winter but it was also a miracle worker when I did a lot of knitting. This places gets a 10 for customer service. Natalie greeted me kindly and explained all about the soap process and actually what Glenn Avenue used in the products. Next l went to the hand washing station and then the fun began. I was able to look at soaps, bath bombs, lip bombs, body butters all made local on site. I tried the body butter after 4 washes my hands still feel nice and soft. This place is legit! I first started noticing Glenn Ave Soap around town at places like Luck Bros Coffee and the North Market. I thought to myself, "wow, my hands feel great and this soap smells amazing!" Then I learned that it's all made right here, in Columbus! How cool is that? Now, I tend to be picky about products I use on my skin. It's important to me that I'm using a product with natural ingredients and whatya know, Glenn Ave Soap does just that. How refreshing! I've purchased many of their amazing bath bombs. They don't have a bunch of crazy (annoying) glitter in them, thank goodness! They leave my skin feeling silky smooth and they come in a variety of scents. My favorite is the lavender. It has little bits of lavender that float around the bathtub and always makes for a very relaxing time. They also make seasonal bath bombs. I fell in love with the frankincense one too. It was to-die-for! On top of the bath bombs, I've purchased their bandits oil foam soap and its fantastic! The essential oils leave a lasting and lovely fragrance and my skin doesn't feel dried out after I use it. It's wonderful! I'm so glad to have found a local soap house right here in Columbus. This was my first time coming to Glenn Avenue since their expansion, and it looks so good! Their larger space has allowed them to put more products out, which were really fun to browse. Every time I come here the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Their packaging for their soap bars is SO pretty and they make great gifts. While browsing their essential oils and essential oil blends, the worker recommended a few uses for some of the blends that I have never thought of, so I bought one and followed her recommendations - my house has never smelled so good! I also bought a bar of soap, Not a Brown Trout, that has Stauf's coffee in it (I love local business collaborations like that!) and have been using it for my hands, but it would also be great for the shower. For those of you that frequent craft breweries in Columbus you have probably washed your hands with Glenn Avenue soap without even realizing. That is where I first discovered Glenn Avenue and I had to seek them out. It is located on 5th Avenue in Grandview but it is easy to miss, it is basically located on the side of Brickhouse Cardio Club. It has a small awning over the entrance, keep your eyes peeled. I love their Citrus Blossom foaming soap. That is all I keep in my bathroom and kitchen now. Some other scents are Garden Mint, Lavender Fields, and Peppermint & Tea Tree. I'm not sure if I came during the wrong time while renovation was occurring or if the establishment is always like this, but I was quite disappointed. :( Being an avid lover of homemade soaps, I was SO excited to visit this company after seeing all the commercials at Gateway Film Center. I came here with hopes to restock my soap stock but unfortunately left with nothing. There didn't seem to be much variety in soaps and products and felt as though the packaging was not very sustainable and necessary! I have been using the face care line for several months now, and it is wonderful. I get so many compliments on my skin, and how healthy it looks. I don't like wearing makeup, and this allows me to go makeup free. I would recommend using the whole regiment, not just the soap, as it is all designed to work together to give you better results. It is designed to restore the ph balance in your skin, and within the first few washes you will notice your face doesn't feel as tight and dried out immediately after. Everything is made on site, so it smells amazing when you walk in the store and the staff is very knowledgeable on the products. Everything is available for you to sample while there, so you won't go home with something that smells different than you expected. The foaming soaps and face wash last a really long time (my first bottle lasted me over 7 months at 2 pumps per day). Just visited the new space and wow! So open and inviting, plenty of space to move around, browse, and sample the products. On the day I went, there were lots of friendly faces willing to answer any questions or lend a hand. I love supporting a local and environmental friendly company. I highly recommend chatting up the staff or the owner to hear the backstory of the company and hear about the ingredients of the products. Speaking of the products, they are AMAZING. I never thought I would be so passionate about soap, but this company made all the difference. I use their olive bar soap for shaving and it's wonderful! My other favorites are the peppermint tea tree (leaves hands super soft) and the Bandit's oil. I have extremely sensitive skin, so I was a bit leery of their facial line, but they are the best products I've ever used! The moisture serum is liquid gold and a little goes a long way. In the winter, I sometimes use a tiny bit of it on my dry and cracked hands. Provides instant relief! read more

No way this has existed and me not know about it...I must have disappeared with dinosaurs or something tragic had me missing this artistic gem. I knew I wanted something very local, very one-of-a-kind, artsy, elegant, elaborate and hands-on selection ability. Hidden away, I now know the location and I now know there is signage that I'd never noticed before. All products are handmade on-site, packaged and labeled right there. I need to do more online researching GLENN AVENUE SOAPS. The gentleman that serve us was perhaps the entrepreneur. He was extremely kind in listening to my randomness and being able to create beautiful gifts. My adult son was interested in the process, the how-to, so he walked my son through each step demonstrated/explained what they had created. One additional associate was crafting while we were there and she was so focused on her artistry. You will never go wrong with a visit, gifts, personalized packages for your home and a walk through tour. It's the signage/location that concerns me. HOWEVER, JUST START LOOKING IN COLUMBUS AREA BATHROOMS....YOU'LL BE SPOTTING THEIR PRODUCTS IN BATHROOMS LIKE ROCKMILL AND MANY OTHERS...soon Stauf's German Village. Great variety of scents andI really love the men's line of beer soaps (unisex but I like them for men)! Good range of products with more on the way. Owners are friendly and knowledge and will tell you all about what differentiates their products from all the other choices out there! I purchased several different items including foaming hand wash, men's soap (the small of patchouli and cedar wood is intoxicating) and a great all organic foam facial wash with some extra "grit" on the side when needed. I don't exfoliate daily because it irritates my older skin but for those who do...the package will last forever! I met the owner while I was there who was so helpful as I made my selections as was the salesperson working that day.
