These guys are real professionals, with a large depth of knowledge. They don't work on electric vehicles, or do oil changes on BMW-s, because those are simply a few things that are outside of their areas of expertise or required specialized tools to work on. Also, working on seemingly simple issues on an EV is like diving down a deep rabbit hole. I'm completely okay with that, since I don't ever plan on owning an EV, or any high-end vehicle for that matter. I know a guy who inherited a Mercedes Benz sedan. He was okay with the car until he had the get engine oil changed. The process to change the oil required a special tool that only the local Mercedes dealership's shop possessed. At the time, the charge for the oil change was $250.00, plus tax. After a few very high maintenance expenditures like that, he sold the car.

I have always gotten really good service from them until today. Kind and compassionate is generally the feel. I was completely comfortable with any advice they gave me. They have caught things that I didn't even know were wrong and was then blown away at the difference in the vehicle afterwards. Aside for the couple times they fixed the wrong thing and I had to bring back my vehicles and wait for another repair to be completed, the repairs are always top notch. I've been here a bunch recently and have spent at least $10-$12k on repairs, probably more. Most recently it was $1800 in July, $850 on Nov 8th, and $1700 just last week! I am quite agitated but I'm not going to screw with their star ranking just because we are breaking up. Plus, I should have written a positive review before now anyway. No one really reads these reviews anyway, so the stars are all they will see. Why am I pissed? I hit a pothole, blew the damn tire, and needed to tow my car to them for a new tire. I called, Tracy answered, and I gave him the make, model, and tire size. He says, "I can't get that tire and I don't work on Tesla's anyway". It's a fucking tire! Do your jacks not work on Tesla's? What a joke. Five lug nuts loosened, a jack, put the tire on the damn wheel. That's all I needed, bro. I guess you don't work on my three Fords and a Jeep now either. I brought my trailer to Custom Spring & Trailer Repair at 2859 Farrisview Rd. in Memphis, TN, and I…read morecouldn't have been more impressed with Roger, his son, and everyone at the shop. My trailer had torsion axles, and Roger inspected them and told me honestly that one of the axles needed to be replaced because the threads were stripped. He explained that repairing it would be a liability, and rather than just taking my money, he gave me the tools and everything I needed to make the repair myself. The replacement axle would have taken about six weeks to get. I repaired it, but unfortunately the threads still wouldn't hold the proper torque. I ended up having another company weld the nut to the axle. I got about 10 minutes down the road before the other axle blew out the bearings. I immediately went back to Roger. It was Labor Day weekend and they were getting ready to close, but Roger again was honest that he couldn't repair that axle either. Instead of leaving me stranded, he recommended another shop and even made the axles for them to install. Unfortunately, that shop couldn't do the job Saturday morning because they didn't have a certified welder. I went back to Roger on Tuesday after the holiday, and just like he told me, they had me back on the road in about 5-6 hours. That's the kind of service you don't see every day. Roger and his son are honest, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely care about helping people. Roger could have easily tried to take on work that he knew wasn't right, but instead he told me the truth and helped me find a solution. I would highly recommend Custom Spring & Trailer Repair to anyone who needs trailer repairs or axle work. Roger knows his business, and I was also told that he makes axles for trailer shops throughout Western Tennessee and Eastern Arkansas -- which says a lot about the quality and experience behind his work. UPDATE- Lynn showed up at my house unannounced instead of mailing it back to me. She was rude and had an attitude. And why is any company employee just showing up at a customers house unannounced like this!? So unprofessional an to be blunt with her attitude makes me feel unsafe just showing up like that out of the blue. Call for tow and they do not advise you they prefer cash or check and will charge a credit card fee. Lynn said she was too busy to advise that when we spoke on the phone to setup the tow. Even though I asked do I pay you over phone with credit card or do I need to pay the driver with credit card, check or cash. Lynn advised pay the driver and that was all she said. Even when I called back to ask why Lynn didn't advise I would be charged a fee Lynn just said she was busy. The driver didn't advise there was a credit card fee until after he ran the credit card and handed the receipt back. I called back and asked for a manger to call me and Lynn is mailing me the fee back but her tone of voice, she was condescending and had an attitude. It's not the point of the fee it's that no one told me beforehand I would be charged the fee and her attitude while talking to me. Poor customer service. Do better!
