These RACIST idiots charged my husband $328 to pick his car up after being on their lot for maybe 10 hours; WE PAID IT. His car was missing a battery and we needed to install a new one in order for us to move it, which they wanted us to pay $75 for. Our mechanic simply asked them how can we move the car without the battery; because of him asking this question they then decided to block our car in and demanded that we pay ANOTHER $375 to let us off of their lot. My husband offered the $75 just so we can go on about our way, BUT NO!! Every time my husband asked about us being able to leave peacefully, they taxed $100 just for us to leave. They lady on the phone was rushing me off the phone wouldn't tell me much bout my car and the never reported that they picked up my car for where I parked it. Evening Facebook update on my vehicle so all this time we thought that the car had been stolen a towing company by the name of lacer towing out of Southhaven, had towed my car on Saturday night. My son went to an apartment complex, called the parks at Paisley off of Knight Arnold in Hickory Hill. He had left with his friends for a moment and when he came back, the car was gone. Mind you when a car is towed they have 30 minutes to dispatch it to the police officers, they did not do that so we assume that the car had been stolen the police officers came out did a report and here we are today on a Monday thinking the car was still stolen . So what I did I called the apartment complex today to speak with the young lady to ask if they had seen anything on camera. She asked me to describe my car and I gave her the details so then she tells me well yes our towing company towed it and I asked her what towing company because I had made a police report and it was not in the system .She gave me the name of the towing company which is in Southhaven so my question was why was my car in Southhaven when I live in Memphis furthermore, the towing company did not dispatch Memphis police department to let them know that my car had been towed and they had it for three days technically the towing company got my car in the wee hours of Sunday morning, so that's from Sunday until today charged $369 for having my car for three days and I had no clue that they even had my car and I had I not called the complex I would not have known where my car was and they would've racked up thousands of dollars I'm gonna find out what needs to be done. I'm gonna call the Better Business Bureau on this lacer towing company in Southhaven because they are doing illegal things so I'm putting them on blast thank God that the car was not stolen and my son gets the car back safe and untouched thanks to everyone that shared my post. Only 1 star because there's no option to go lower!! This Tow Service towed 4 vehicles that were parked across from Hilton Garden Inn (Southaven) at JC Penny parking lot closest to the Hotel. This was during the ice storm power outage (Feb 4-7) and nobody authorized them or called them to tow the vehicles. They just did it on their own and wanted to charge $214+ for each car, only took cash and had a rude B*+ch on the phone. Eddie runs it and is a complete A$$. I contacted the Mall Operations Supervisor, as I waited 2+ hours to get my truck back, bc Eddie said he was on his way each time someone called him. Mall Supervisor went above and beyond to get our vehicles back without us having to pay. Laser Tow damaged other persons tire from dragging it through the parking lot and Big Derrick made Eddie buy him a new tire from next door. I pray this business goes under. It was theft bc he was not authorized by anyone and Hilton said he'd been doing it since November, every night @4am. Hilton didn't warn people either. After our cars were towed they placed a big stack of fliers on the counter, warning ppl about parking across the street. They were behind the counter until that point. Our BBQ smoker had a flat and we called laser for a tow. They hit a low bridge and advised they could fix the issue themselves. We let them try but they failed.
