Both front desk and imaging staff are friendly, knowledgable and professional. Before my first ablation at Windermere MIC, I was concerned about possible negative effects on my pain and mobility, but my treatment was so painless and effective that I had no qualms before my second treatment. Many thanks to this clinic for months of pain relief. I m attempting to continue with future ablation treatments at your clinic, which I know and trust.

We were greeted immediately and got brought to the waiting area for the X-ray technician. The location is extremely clean and modern looking as it is new. The location is on the second floor of a medical building. There is plenty of parking outside and plenty of chairs in the waiting room. I went to Insight for my initial baby ultrasounds. At my 13 week NT scan, I didn't have the proper…read moreprerequisite and had to wait for my doctor to fax it over. No worries! By the time it came, we had 15 minutes left of our 45-60 minute appointment and my tech let me know it. It was very rushed and baby wasn't cooperative, she didn't show us any photos or videos of baby. I would've been fine rescheduling if we had needed more time but I wasn't given that option! Then our results came... and baby was determined to have spinal bifida, determined after a quick and rushed 15 minute ultrasound. We were referred to a specialist, who told us there's absolutely nothing wrong with baby and that they usually don't start testing for spinal bifida until 19/20 weeks... yet it came up for a 13 week scan at Insight. Likely the spine wasn't fully developed at that point. Very unprofessional and quite traumatic of a result for something that could have been avoided. Why weren't we booked in for a follow up instead of jumping to conclusions? Why was it even a possibility at a 13 week ultrasound to begin with? After discussing this with many people, this has also been their experience with Insight. We have since switched places and will not be back.

Wait times were surprisingly short and the onsite Doctor reviews and assesses the imaging right away, so you don't have to wait for a dreaded phone call from your GP or MyAlbertaHealth. Mine was a mammogram (which I had avoided for decades) and once the assessment was done (all clear!) you're on your way. The entire process took less than 40 minutes. I was able to get my driver out of the McDonald's drive-through, and arrive at the right time. My experience was overall pretty comfortable. They warm the gel used for the ultra sound in a kind of bottle warmer! So much nicer. The only thing that made me pause was that the staff mostly don't wear masks anymore. They say they will don a mask on request. I think that they should instead, follow the lead of the patient and wear a mask if the patient wears one.
