The place is quite busy, staff is friendly and parking is spacious but due to other clinics in the area it can get full and you have to pay for parking. I suggest you find a driver to drop you off and they can visit Kingsway mall nearby or take transit. The wait time is pretty organized so try to be on time. Same thing wait room, then screening room, another patient waiting room, & finally the appointment. Recommended for anyone who needs specific pain management but you do need a referral with a requisition from your doctor for a specific reason.

Incompetent business…read more I went to this shop on September 4, 2019 to find a pair of therapeutic shoes along with the orthotics themselves. These were to be paid through my insurance, which is where I usually send the request to, but the orthopedist said that they prefer to send it, so I had given the electronic contact information for my insurance to him. On September 18th, I phoned my insurance company to ask why I haven't received a notice for approval. According to them, they hadn't received the request from Custom Orthopedic. I immediately contacted Custom Orthopedic and the orthopedist claimed to have sent the request himself and that the insurance company is mistaken. Once again I sent the contact information directly to the orthopedist in addition to the contact information for the insurance supervisor. The orthopedist said that he would phone back the following Friday. He never did. After phoning Custom Orthopedic on September 21, I learned that the request to the insurance company was sent by fax, not email. This suggests that the fax could've gone anywhere since I hadn't given them the fax number that my insurance uses for this purpose. The person that I had spoken to didn't seem to care about the situation and directed my concern to the owner who would not be available until the following Monday. I've decided that if I have to wait another month for orthotics, I may as well get them through a different orthopedist.

They denied the whole discussion and said they never provided me with those responses and made up another story. They are completely irresponsible to what they say or don't say, and ruthless about just grabbing the money and not caring about the client. Do not recommend and avoid at all costs.

Tech refused twice to x-ray a patient because they would have trouble standing. Didn't call the…read moreBone and Joint Clinic to ask them to help. He just stood there and was completely inflexible. Someone who is disabled shouldn't be forced to conform to the technology. He was completely unwilling to think of alternate solutions or even ask other staff to help out. He was just going to sentence this person to life in a wheel chair and going into long-term care because she wouldn't be able to go home. The person needs surgery and could not have it if the x-ray was not done. Fortunately Bone and Joint Clinic staff came to the rescue and the x-ray got done inspite of the horrible services by the X-ray Clinic at Northgate.
