The Principle was one of the worse she would harassed us, split in my face I was 10 at the time, We would go to school hungry and the rich students would laugh at us when we would get sick in school. Daily the rich would laugh and mock us saying your poor and don't have a father... Most of the Nuns would encouraged the rich students to laugh at the poor students and push them , trip them, not allow the poor to participate in events. One day the principle came into my classroom called on my name -- made me stand up and said what is a verb, I said I don't know she keep repeating it and told the class several time s to yell-- what a verb is, I continue to say I don't know == just so it would stop--- but she continue to tell the class to yell to me-- what a verb is ;;;she did this to every person in my family ...My brothers warned me about her.. I remember a first grade NUN took our 6 grade class to play ball --as I was walking down the stairs she screamed at me saying you walk behind us not in front-- this was after some of the rich girls pointed at me and said that's the poor girl we dont like her.....I stopped and let them all pass by with smirks and smiles on their faces---I waited a few minutes to go outside and the NUN yell again and said you stand near the back fence away from us so I did As they began playing hand ball I stared at her from a distance and she hit the ball with her hand and ran around the bases as she approached the home plate she slid on the ground and her face slam into the drain spout blood everywhere the rich girls crying helping her inside...I stood the 20 minutes just waiting before going back into the school .This was a satisfied day for all the torcher they did to my family Sister Angus was the only NUN that was not mean to my family. there are so many stories that these nuns did to my family too much to write about

I've been here 2 weeks now--…read more 1/ If you're going for a walk on the boardwalk, and it's before 12 noon be careful -- The bikers!!! They will easily run you down. They should not allow bikes on the boardwalk after 9 AM. Too many elderly people Trying to walk and not get run over by people doing 50 miles an hour!!!!! 2/ Signs are posted all over the place. No dogs on the boardwalk and no dogs on the beach!!!! Too bad cops don't enforce it. 3/ Did I mention cops? What is this Harlem in the 70s? I have never seen so many cops in my life. They drive their SUVs "on the beach" Checking ASS-- right behind beachgoers-- then they turn around and drive in front of them!! So while you're trying to relax with the Kids-- now you have to worry about your children being run over by cops!!!!! Stay OFF the Beach!!!! Everybody has a cell phone--- if there was a problem you would get a phone call-!!! Stop looking for Boooooty--!!!! 4/ Do you speak Russian? Well, you better brush up because none of these boardwalk employees speak English!! NONE!!!!!!! Going back to Seaside...... Good Riddance Wildwood-!!!

She is learning in a safe and loving environment that is full of the gift of the Holy Spirit. We could not ask for a more supportive school. Unfortunately, the bishop recently announced the diocese will close this school next year. Catholic education will be gone from Millville and all of Cumberland County save Vineland come September. I cannot fathom closing such an awesome school.

Two of our three children currently attend St. Joseph. Our eldest is in the HS. We have never had an issue or doubt as to whether we have made the right choice. The academics are challenging and standardized testing is not an issue for the kids. I would recommend this school to anyone, catholic or non catholic like myself.

Every day when my sons leave for school, I feel comforted that they are receiving a first-rate education in a safe and loving environment. They enjoy all of the extra-curricular activities as well, including basketball, chess club, art club, yearbook and much more. My boys are challenged by the curriculum, which is crucial to their future academic success. My older sons who are currently enrolled at St Joseph High School, were well prepared for their studies due to the foundation laid by St Joseph Elementary.

Our daughter reads, had tech, Spanish, library, art, science, piano lessons, Bible, daily worship. It was such a wonderful day that she enjoyed. They were so welcoming, caring, and had awesome community activities for us to get to know others. As a military family, it is always hard to get to know everyone and feel welcome. We wish we didn't have to move and could stay for all of elementary school!

There is no lunch room and a lot of their other classes ( art, Library and music ) are in trailers that are cold in the winter and hot in the summer. But the love for the kids is really great. It's a small school with lots of heart. The older kids help mentor the young ones and help the teachers out a lot. It has the homeschool feel but with other families. The class room sizes are small at most 12 kids. I drive 45 mins (one way) for my kids to go here. It's worth it!! Feel free to call and make an appointment to tore the school. They teach the kids about computers in Pre-K. It's amazing what this school does with the little money they have. Come see what the love of Jesus Christ can do for you and your family.
